Summary and Preview
Tomonaga is a brilliant scientist who left his home in Japan to study at a university in the US at the young age of 13. Six years later, the economic crisis deprived him of his research funding, and thus his career. Now he's returned to Japan to take a job teaching at an all-girls high school.
Unfortunately, on his first day he learns the reason the position was open; the previous teacher was fired for inappropriate conduct towards a student. How can Tomonaga be an effective teacher when he is teaching girls who are basically his age? And, with the emotional wounds caused by his predecessor still healing, how can he prove to his cautious students that he deserves their trust?
