Hattori: Us being enemies started a while ago though.

And worst of all, swear loyalty to them.

Hattori: You became totally warped because of these experiences, losing the ablility to be loyal to anyone.

Plunging yourself deep into self devotion,

literally destroying any trace of your past self in the process, just so you could stomach working for the enemy.

Or, you WISH you could have tossed it away.

If you could have, you could forget about having to kill for your sister.

The shame, anger, and hatred you bore, if she weren't around you could escape from it.

If you could forget her existence just for a while, and plunge yourself into missions, life could be just a little bit more bearable.

Fighting and killing like a machine....
