Afterword

In my previous afterword section, I said that volume 9 would consist of love comedy, but now that I take another look, I wonder if this can really be called love comedy...

The development with an evil man intent on exposing Nono's true identity felt natural for me, because she is the female protagonist cross-dressing as a man, and I have been dropping many hints about Hino. Finally we get to volume 9, where I have the right opportunity to develop it further, but I was shocked at the number of rejections I got from the readers. And I was wondering how many times something like that will happen during the serialization...
But what will happen from now on is still a secret.

In the next month when this volume goes on sale, the winter Olympics that happens once every four years will begin. Because of that, I tried to make the volume cover convey the feeling of ski jumping a bit more. Although they haven't announced the Olympic representatives yet, I think many of the athletes I interviewed so far will be chosen, so I really hope they will do well. It would be nice if people get more excited over ski jumping.

My so-called love comedy development will continue for a little while longer.
It would make me very happy if I get to see you again in volume 10.
