TN: All right folks, take a deep breath...and exhale it all at once as comfortably as you can...yes, you've just finally removed the Under-Maruhage arc from your system! With the way the anime didn't get to the ending and how long many of you have been waiting for this, it's just great to finally get to the end of this arc. (yeah, there's a little bit more next chapter but that's pretty much an epilogue into...um...other things) Thinking about Hydrate after we reached the end of his big battle...I just never realized how wacky he was until I did the arc with him. Heck, if you think about it, Hydrate was probably our first really wacky, crazy final villain (well in some senses, since he was still creepy as heck) since Gunkan...but unlike Gunkan, he didn't have all those really weird Hajike moments that could have made her comedic...probably more like a weirder, more distressed Giga. In fact, considering how scary or serious Hydrate was from the beginning of the arc through the rise of the Yamiking (and where or what was that "giant hand" attack he had if all of his attacks turned out to be foot-based?), who would turn out he would get so strange when it was finally his turn! (or that Serviceman would respect him) He was an interesting final villain, a nice breath of fresh air from some of the more serious or psychotic ones such as Halekulani or Tsurulina the 3rd. (or...the really huge and important arc villain coming next!) As for the actual chapter...well, it's amazing to see both another Essential and Don Patch returning, as well as the insanity of the conditions, going from a Saiyuki parody to octopus fighting and DB references all the way up to...well, more Tennosuke abuse. But hey, now this battle is over, the alliance has won and the Maruhage Empire is possibly no more after this, at least Bo-bobo and his allies can finally get a huge break next time after another huge victory...but of course, these things never stay quiet for long...and trust me, what starts next time is the beginning of "the big one"...an arc that everyone (well...me) has been waiting for!
