However, while the “Ka” kanji seems prominent here and is usually used either for species of mosquitoes (the kanji’s meaning is “mosquito”) or with “tonbo” for “crane fly” (which is known to eat mosquitoes), “tonbo” by itself is a “damselfly” in Japanese. It probably would make more sense for Tennosuke to say “I’m a crane fly”, but the skirt seems to make him more making me think he’s trying to say he’s a damselfly. But then again, he has a sucker like a mosquito…)

TN: So I guess there's one real question I have for this chapter: can someone explain what the true purpose of "adult" was in this chapter? I sort of get that was Junko's main purpose and her abilities and attacks were extremely clever but...I think that most of the image of "adult" really wasn't as executed as well as many of the other fusion concepts. Probably her best attack was the salaryman typhoon...since that at least sort of involved other adults...but I think you have to just go with the flow. But hey, seeing Tennosuke turn against his own "race" (if you call tokoroten blobs that) to act mature was probably one advantage...I think somehow "adult" should have been some measure of maturity but there really was no maturity whatsoever regarding this. And as for her punishment as "Shigeki X isn't adult enough"...well what then is adult!? OK, maybe I'm overanalyzing this but at least this is obvious: Shigeki X is no more, the Hatsumou Shishi are done, and only Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi remains! And that battle begins...next time.
