The sad thing is no FT adaptation ever reached 100%.
2009 had the best animation for the most part but the art style was different and it had dumb small changes that derailed the plot to milk drama (that moment in the twin dragons fight in which the characters in the infirmary are trying to guess the tide of the battle by the cheers of the stadium is just so dumb. The same fight shows that transmission lacrimas exist and the manga even shows an image of them watching the fight via one of them like they should).
2014 had the correct art style but worse animation, most subdued colors and is guilty of giving the demon slayer ice that goofy-ass purple color to distinguish from the normal ice magic, like we are all dumb and cant tell them apart otherwise... in the manga the ice is the exact same color but if they really wanted to separate the 2 (I kinda understand although I dont agree), they could've used silver color, not only is the name of the character is also the material that works on monsters in various different stories.
2018 barf... never again, the fact that there's people who liked the final season only speaks about the potential a decent adaptation has to be successful.
At the end of the day it's also sad that if the adaptation is good, it will almost certainly copy Ueda's art and not Mashima's...

) but the other little details also really made it more special to me - the transitions, the narration, the magic circles, the OG soundtrack/ sound effects. It was a unique feel that I do miss a little in the sequel series. Yes a lot of that went away in the manga too, but it added to the anime in a greater way than it did the manga. It would be nice if the 100YQ anime could re-use the character models from the final OG series.
