An entire village
It's literally less then a dozen people. Counting all the people shown thought out the chapter, it would still be under 20...

I was wrong, I meant 167.
In 167, it's Asta and co talking with Rades until the end when we see three magic Knights...

That the group's purpose was to defeat the terrorists as Mereo said.

Once resolved, the group makes no sense to be there. And the knights listen to Mereo ...
Unless as mentioned, they're reformed for a new task. That would be the obvious answer then go through the whole selection progress again just to build another group, especially when this group has already proven it's worth...

Just read the manga, that's all.
I have read the manga. If the answer is that simple, then there shouldn't be any problem in just showing me the exact example where it's shown.

That the story of prejudices for William makes no sense, since he was only interested in recruiting potential guests ...
We were given why William would be siding with elves, and thus showing he was actively against Julius up until his revival, and even that's only because of the guilt he feels towards his previous actions.

The evidence is there, just read the manga.
If the evidence is that obvious, then just show it.

Hating men doesn't mean having prejudices for the classes, Charlotte has taken a common woman with her, so she doesn't have any, let's say she wanted Yuno in the group ...
Hating a specific sex is prejudicial, and it disproves the core argument, that they have no prejudicial feelings. More importantly, it shows the flaw in your belief. Charlotte accepting of Julius and Yami didn't stop her from continuing to hate other men. So the idea that the captains liking Asta means they're suddenly alright will all commoners is wrong.

I repeat, have we seen them? We saw them only take them .....
Yeah, we saw them. We saw them not only fight, but saw the other elves fight against the human captains and hold their own.

Furthermore, foreshadowing does not annul asspulls. One thing can be as meaningful or as contextual as you want, but it remains an asspull. Vanessa's power makes sense in the context of history, but on balance it remains a deus ex machina made to get out of a situation otherwise impossible to resolve.
An Asspull by definition is something not foreshadowed, but instead pulled from nowhere. And that's not how that works, otherwise any time a character does anything to turn something around it would be seen as a deus ex machina. A deus ex machina specifically involves an unknown character suddenly fixing the whole situation. That's clearly not what happen in the least.

How what?

And who does it then?

This is nice XD
You're the one who did it. No one else on this board seem to believe those were situations with no way out, since this is a shounen, which by default would mean the heroes will always find a way to win. The issue was never if the heroes will win, it's how the heroes will win.

We do not even know if the magic knights as an organization existed at the time, I would say go slow. Maybe they were created a few years later ...
True, we don't know. But it would seem strange to declare someone who's been long dead as the leader of an organization years after the fact.

Ninja doctor is not a real grade like Jonin or chunin, but more a qualification.

And I would say that the fact that a sannin was not a Jonin is quite senseless.
It is considered a rank akin to those, just like Hokage and Anbu are considered a rank even though they technically aren't. And the Sannin title was given to them by Hanzou simply for lasting as long as they did against him, nor would it be senseless... The series was filled with powerful characters without a high or even a rank, heck the highest ranking among the big villains was the lowest ranking of genin...

Those that are shown, but obviously the scene will have been seen from the whole village

We see the Black Bull entering the capital in style, I find it hard for anyone between citizens and knights to see what happened next.

Actually not, William himself explains that he has always tried to reconcile being faith with Julius with his connection to Patry. And this, however, has nothing to do with the question of prejudice.

Hating a specific sex is prejudicial
Charlotte hates men as a gender in itself, does not hate people based on their status, and yet men are accepted in the Blue Rose (just as Sol says they don't play a big role) and the fact that she wanted Yuno meant she knows recognize the talent, because I doubt that she would have made him a servant.

Yeah, we saw them. We
Have we had tests that are stronger than a captain? I don't think so ....

An Asspull by definition is something not foreshadowed,
I repeat, foreshadowing has nothing to do with it, because it can herald everything you want, but since you insert a desu ex machina to solve a situation so far unsolvable, then you're doing an asspull.

Vanessa who wakes up an OP power just when her companions are about to be killed? Asspull

The sword of Asta given to him that cancels a magic defined three cpaitoli before invincibile? Asspull

Yuno who, unique among all, does not let himself be possessed? Asspull.

You're the one who did it.
????

The issue was never if the heroes will win, it's how the heroes will win.
Here it is done on the subjective, because what for you is a good way does not mean that it is for others.

?????

Kage are ranking, the highest of all. Anbu is just a squad, medical ninja are a specialization.

The sannin were all jonin, otherwise how do you explain the hundreds of S missions they have completed?

How is that obvious? The establishing shots showed people frozen in ice and unconscious on the ground, with the whole place in ruins. There's no reason to believe that there were a bunch more people unharmed that simply wasn't shown, when the whole point was the opposite.

We see the Black Bull entering the capital in style, I find it hard for anyone between citizens and knights to see what happened next.
Well considering in the part they entered, there had been fighting for some time, logically the majority of people who had stuck around would have been down and out, as we were previous shown.

Actually not, William himself explains that he has always tried to reconcile being faith with Julius with his connection to Patry. And this, however, has nothing to do with the question of prejudice.
But he still sided with Patri, he still chose to go against Julius. This specifically disproves your idea that all the captains would side with Julius, as we have a captain choosing the opposite side.

Charlotte hates men as a gender in itself, does not hate people based on their status, and yet men are accepted in the Blue Rose (just as Sol says they don't play a big role) and the fact that he wanted Yuno meant he knows recognize the talent, because I doubt that he would have made him a servant.
Hating someone's gender is the exact same thing as hating someone class, they're both hating someone for something they had no control over. And so? The Nobles accept the commoners to work for them and such, that doesn't mean they don't have prejudice. In both cases they're treating a group as beneath themselves just because of something that they had no choice in...

Have we had tests that are stronger than a captain? I don't think so ....
So you're saying that the captains would not be as strong as a captain? What kind of sense does that make? Either someone who has the rank of captain is that strong, or else there would be no meaning to the statement itself.

Asspull.
"An Ass Pull is a moment when the writers pull something out of thin air in a less-than-graceful narrative development, violating the Law of Conservation of Detail by dropping a Plot-critical detail in the middle, or near the end of their narrative without Foreshadowing or dropping a Chekhov's Gun earlier on." As specifically stated before, an asspull is something that doesn't involve foreshadowing. It being foreshadowed means you know it's coming. And Yuno was possessed... The whole point of that was he was possessed by their unborn baby, therefore he could keep his will.

You're the one believing things are unbeatable in a shounen...

Here it is done on the subjective, because what for you is a good way does not mean that it is for others.
Except you're not complaining how it was done, but that it was done at all, which isn't subjective but basic storytelling.

?????

But he was never a leader ...
The whole role of the Magic Emperor is as leader of the Magic Knights... Them deciding to make him their leader after his sacrifice is one thing, but to do so years later done the line is another.

?????

Kate are ranking, the highest of all. Abu is just a squad, medical ninja are a specialization.

The sannin were all jonin, otherwise how do you explain the hundreds of S missions they have completed?
Kage isn't an actual ranking, it's a political position other vote on. And these things were shown in the databook as such.

One didn't have to be a Jounin to complete S-rank missions... It's not like S-rank missions were more dangerous or anything. We were specifically told what they involved, assassinations or delivery of classified documents.

Not sure if this was posted, but there is some interesting info from the Volume 21 Extras:

I am glad that Tabata actually adressed whom Rhya was copying during Gueldre's interrogation. Its actually pretty logical lol
Something abotu the royals and the entrance exams and why Mimosa and Kirsch didnt join the Crimson Lions like the rest of their family. And about Finral and his last name.

This parenthesis of the trial as well as the whole matter of the demon behind everything is proof that the author does not know how to deal with serious matters.

So that magical stone and the chain on Licht's forehead in the cover seems a lot like Yuno's pendant :mono

It is not really so .....
What's not really so? The definition, because that's the most common way to describe it: "If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don't put it there." Or it's usage in this series, because as mentioned, the issue has only just been introduced a few chapters ago, and thus we still have several arcs before we have to see the payoff.

I think you should reread the first few chapters, however if you really had to be treated in such a sloppy and inconclusive way we could very well do without it ...
Asta's conflict in the first few chapters wasn't "with the Nobles". Revchi and those taking the entrance exam weren't Nobles, and Asta dealt with them within those arcs. After that it was the seeding of the conflict with the Midnight Sun group and the other kingdoms. More importantly, a conflict requires both sides to be in play. This is the first time since the Midnight Sun that those opposing Asta are still around and in a position to threaten him.

I don't know, a guy with a very useful magic that does nothing during a war that threatens to destroy the realm, but only comes out to judge what saved everyone's ass?

And nobody who points this out to him?
That's not a plothole! We know why they didn't help, because they're corrupt people who don't actually care about anyone but themselves. And we were outright told why Asta would be judged, because they're using him as a scapegoat to take all the blame, Julius literally stated this. And no one points this out because that's how the Nobles are.

I still don't understand why because their opinions seem to be taken into consideration by others, but ok ...
Because they are the government, the ruling class, the absolute authority in the kingdom... What is not to understand?

And I repeat that it makes no sense, because it was enough for someone from the dozen people who had witnessed everything to testify in favor of Asta.

And if someone had to argue well .... I want to see who has the courage to challenge people able to raze countries.
It makes prefect sense, because the entire point was they're setting Asta up. I don't understand why this is hard to understand. They don't care about the truth, so they have no reason to bring forth witnesses or even to try and learn the truth. They wanted Asta to take all the blame, which Julius literally said they wanted to do. The whole trial was just to justify their execution of Asta.

Asta has always reiterated that it wants to become emperor also to eliminate the injustices of the kingdom due to the caste system.
Where did Asta ever say that? Please provide this proof. Because as mentioned, the Magic Emperor doesn't have that kind of power. If they did, Julius could have changed things well before now.

I still don't understand why they should be threatening, just making a common front, which Magical Knights would go against Black Bull or Julius?
Aside from the threat of their own power? And considering Julius did side with them instead of Asta, why would the other Magic Knights not?

Yes, but in the meantime they fought and were exposed on the front line against the bosses. If people died, it's because they couldn't be in multiple places at once. Damnatio what the hell did he do?

Or even the nobles who you think are so strong and fearsome to scare Julius?
But they weren't fighting or on the front lines til after people had died, which is the point. Tsunade sat out Pain's invasion and only got involved when Pain himself came to her. Yeah, she helped saved people after he destroyed the village, but that was only after everyone else had been fighting for a while. The same with the war. They weren't "fighting somewhere else", they were just sitting in the command center while everyone else fought. Gaara was the only one on the battlefield from the beginning.

And again, when did Damyo in Naruto do or were deemed important? The only time a Damyo had an influence on the plot was during the election of Danzo (who was not yet Hokage, however, because the confirmation of the jonin was missing) otherwise they only gave the ok to the alliance that was already decided and had little choice and lasting war their role was very passive ....
What are you taking about? The Daimyo's were specifically stated as important, which is why they were being protected by Mei and a bunch of ninjas during the war, and why Black Zetsu attempted to kidnap them. Rulers by default are always considered important.

So much so that his letter is enough to make everyone change their minds?
The only thing it changed was how Asta was punished. Asta was still seen as guilty and in turn a criminal.

In fact we can see how scared Noelle was when the Black Bull intervened oh, wait .....
So Noelle putting aside her fear to help Asta means there is no fear, even though we're shown said fear?

But if they intervened on his behalf ...
That's clearly not an opinion, else they would have done so...

So why is his letter enough to make everyone change their minds?

Is it not that Julius's was the classic phrase that the character shoots just to throw tension, but then he didn't actually match?

Let us all remember the famous phrase of Hitsugaya in Bleach "If Aizen gathers more than one Vasto Lorde for the SS it is the end" In fact, yes, we have seen it all.
It didn't change their minds about anything but how Asta was punished, which was the minor part of the actual conflict. Asta still ended up being made into the villain and taking all the blame... Asta didn't die because Julius specifically intervened to stop that from happening, which we knew was gonna happen because Julius was the one who explained what was gonna happen. It wasn't "Asta was said to die but it never came up", it was Asta only survived because the Black Bulls and Julius interfered and saved him.

Also, Hitsugaya said that if Aizen gathered more then ten, Soul Society would be doomed, and he wasn't exactly wrong. Considering that just three of the five that he had were able to hold off half the Captains of Soul Society, It's pretty clear had Aizen gotten a few more he could have easily wrecked them.

Well look at the king ....

Having said this, one always returns to the usual question, why have these very strong nobles done nothing?
The King knows how to use his mana... And the answer is BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE.

And you could get to the same reluctant even without a trial. A simple mission required by Julius was enough.

If indeed the ultimate goal of this subplot was this.,
How could you get the same outcome? Asta being given a mission wouldn't give him a reason to be in conflict with the Nobles, nor would it give the other characters motive to try and help him by finding out more information about demons, which is what we've been seeing these last few chapters.

It is not an answer ... and it does not change my statement. Where were these elusive powerful nobles able to stand up to gent sects to destroy countries?
It is an answer. We saw that with Damnatio alone was equal to the entire squad of the Black Bulls and without Asta they would have been powerless. They didn't get involved because it's not their duty to gte involved and they didn't care to do so.

You should read the chapter, the whole congress wanted him dead.
I did read it. It wasn't until after Asta transformed that the rest got scared and agreed with Damnatio. Before that point, Damnatio was the one pushing for execution. He's the judge, meaning he's the one who decides the punishment.

With the difference that Asta has kind of saved the kingdom.
Which they don't believe he did, since technically he didn't. Asta alone didn't save anything, it was a group effort.

Such an important event must leave its mark almost immediately, I have the impression that the same auction will remain the same ....
It mustn't do anything. Again, we haven't had any focus on Asta since the trial, so there's no reason we would see any effect if there was one til we do.

Actually they are all things seen in the first chapter or in the very first few. Asta never wanted to kill anyone, never got angry unless someone insulted his friends and tried to understand the next
No they weren't. I said spare, which in the recent arcs we've seen him more willing to work with those who were against him. Asta was very reactive and quick to anger in the first few arcs, well beyond just defending his friends. We saw him yell at his fellow orphans for mocking him. And early arc Asta had no understanding of others, far from now where he's shown knwoing how corrupt the Nobles are and that Noelle's act is fake.

In fact the protagonist is usually the villain....
The protagonist is who the story is focus on, that could be a hero, antihero, or yeah, villain. For example, the protagonist of Overlord is a villain.

Of course yes.

The manga has never explained why Damnatio was not doing anything during the invasion, so the reason is we imagine it .....
The manga has shown us that the Nobles are selfish and don't care about the peasants. Damnatio being a Noble would fall into this category. We have seen nothing to suggest that Damnatio is different from the other Nobles, or even say, his relative the King. In case you forgot, we were literally shown the King resting with some beautiful women the first time the Midnight Sun attacked the capital.

Sure, but that was the excuse to make the Auction stop them.

Villain yes, but villain with motivations and easily understandable, which the demon is not.

The point is this.
They were always set to be stopped, they were possessing innocent people who would have been condemned to the underworld. And the demon had a motive that was easy to understand, he wanted freedom and a new body. It wasn't that complicated.

Then the part where he barks against the magic knights at the banquet I imagined myself

That's not a plothole!
Well ... yes...

We know why they didn't help,
Ah, can you tell me the chapter where it's said? Because I guess I missed it ....

Because they are the government, the ruling class,
They have two members on their side (probably the bosses since they haven't seen others) of the damned royal families, more people able to raze countries, according to what they have to submit to the whims of spoiled nobles?

It makes prefect sense, because the entire point was they're setting Asta up.

OK, but why? At plot level what does it involve? What changes for Asta? For now the only consequence is a mission abroad for the Black Toor and you could get it very well without entering this subplot ...

Where did Asta ever say that?

In one of the first chapters in a flashback of him as a child and then when he stops Raia from self-destruction.

the Magic Emperor doesn't have that kind of power.
Then Julius, who thought he was doing so by becoming an Emperor, is an idiot I guess

Aside from the threat of their own power?
What power?

And considering Julius did side with them instead of Asta,
What ??

But they weren't fighting or on the front lines til after people had died, which is the point.

And again, did they have the gift of ubiquity?

In any case, when it came to fighting they all fought, only the Raikage as head of the alliance remained more in the rear.

You cannot compare the work of Onooki who stopped two meteorites to save everyone's life from that of Damnatio.

At the level of history? Apart from the case of Danzo, when did a damyo's decision move an event?

The only thing it changed was how Asta was punished.

Too bad they wanted him dead, and as much as Damnatio may know, they can do anything not to make it happen ...

Then again, what changes in Asta? In the next chapter do we see him angry, doubtful?

So Noelle putting aside her fear to help Asta means there is no fear, even though we're shown said fear?
You know, usually things show themselves, I don't think I saw Nolle do what you say .....

It didn't change their minds about anything but how Asta was punished, which was the minor part of the actual conflict. Asta still ended up being made into the villain and taking all the blame...
And again, how does it affect Asta or the other characters?

Also, Hitsugaya said that if Aizen gathered more then ten, Soul Society would be doomed, and he wasn't exactly wrong
And how not, so dangerous that one of the strongest (it is not clear which with all the retcon made by Kubo) is killed by Kyoraku without even using the Bankai, so that the same Aizen repudiates them saying they were too weak ...
And the answer is BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE.
Already, very credible, they do nothing to protect themselves from certain death because THEY DON'T CARE.

We saw that with Damnatio alone was equal to the entire squad of the Black Bulls and without Asta they would have been powerless.

Damnatio is not all nobles, and overpowered? Really ?

In other words, should a guy with the scale overpewered types able to manipulate fate, cut dimensions or eat and suck mana?

It wasn't until after Asta transformed that the rest got scared and agreed with Damnatio. Before that point, Damnatio was the one pushing for execution.
But what does it have to do with it? They wanted him dead anyway ...

Which they don't believe he did,
There are at least a dozen people who can say yes.

since technically he didn't.
I see that I have imagined volume 22 then.

Asta alone didn't save anything, it was a group effort.

Who gave the final blow that killed the demon? Asta

Who with his power was relevant both in fighting the demon and in freeing others? Asta ....

said spare, which in the recent arcs we've seen him more willing to work with those who were against him.

Ah, why wasn't it before?

And early arc Asta had no understanding of others,
As above, we see that we have read two different manga.

The protagonist is who the story is focus on, that could be a hero, antihero, or yeah, villain. For example, the protagonist of Overlord is a villain.
Yeah, in fact Overlord is notoriously a Shonen Jump manga ....

The manga has shown us that the Nobles are selfish and don't care about the peasants.
But who talks about the paesants?

Here we talk about a war that involved THEIR lives and that of the king, We saw Dammatio intervene to save the king from four idiots, but when Ratri p arrived very close to killing the king I imagine he was sleeping .....

They were always set to be stopped,

But if they had ignored the poor and focused only on the nobles, it would have been difficult for the readers to cheer for Asta and friends ..

Ditto if one of the elves showed different feelings from "we kill all humans !!"

By characterizing them all as psychopathic murderers, it was possible to have the perfect excuse to put them against heroes ...

. And the demon had a motive that was easy to understand
But that never explains .....
And anyway we went from villain with motivations or with a past with which to empathize to a villain which is the exact opposite.

The Royalty was not seen at all in the flashback.

Flashback that serves only to emphasize how evil the demon is because yes.
Maaaaaan, I wish I could've gotten in on this action because that is very much false.

Not in Secre flashback.

That flashback show only the evilness of the demon.
It doesn't matter, it's all the same flashback, shown from different POVs. You're the only guy here stuck on that mindset for some insane reason.

There was talk of Secre's flashback. And in that the figure of the villain is only the demon, the real are not seen.

The message of the manga is clear: humans are not guilty because the evil demon instigated them.

Very wrong and childish message.

You're the only guy here stuck on that mindset for some insane reason.
If you don't know how to accept criticism it's not my fault.

The author is not perfect, understanding when he is wrong also helps to appreciate the work itself.

And it seems to me that there are too many unused guns in these last chapters (indeed in the last story arc)
The arc has just began, you can't complain about such til at the very least the end of the next arc. You're not suppose to demand the gun to be used right after it's introduced. And only two things were introduced during the last arc, the devils and the magic tools, the former of which is being set up as the main plotpoint going forward, and the latter which had a mention at the beginning of this arc. What plot point has gone unused?

Then the part where he barks against the magic knights at the banquet I imagined myself
How was that a conflict with the Nobles? That whole thing was centered around Noelle's family, and Asta dealt with the guys who was badmouthing him, solving it. If anything, that was more to introduce the Silva and Vermillion members.

Well ... yes...
How is it a plothole? The Nobles not helping but then framing Asta is the whole point, showing how corrupt and evil they are. Them helping and not trying to kill Asta would defeat the entire purpose of what is being set up.

Ah, can you tell me the chapter where it's said? Because I guess I missed it ....
Chapter 29 and Chapter 173, they specifically show that the Magic Knights are the military and it's completely on them to protect the kingdom.

They have two members on their side (probably the bosses since they haven't seen others) of the damned royal families, more people able to raze countries, according to what they have to submit to the whims of spoiled nobles?
The "Royal" families have no power, how many times do you need to be told that? We're both told and shown that. The Nobles have massive magic too, not that it would matter, because how destructive someone is doesn't mean anything. Asta himself is proof of this, and Damnatio showed that one didn't need to be crazy destructive to be a serious threat. And again, that's how Kings and Nobility and such are, they have power over those beneath them, even if they themselves are powerless.

OK, but why? At plot level what does it involve? What changes for Asta? For now the only consequence is a mission abroad for the Black Toor and you could get it very well without entering this subplot ...
Because his magic comes from a devil and Damnatio considers that evil, and more importantly they have need of a fall guy to excuse the actions of the possessed Magic Knights. Julius literally explains all this to us. As for what changed, Asta was fount guilty and is now a criminal who has to find another devil without choice, which now all of his fellow Black Bulls are trying to help him with. You can't complain about the lack of consequences before you actually see what the consequences are...

In one of the first chapters in a flashback of him as a child and then when he stops Raia from self-destruction.
I'm gonna need an actual link or actual picture, because I've reread the series and at no point did Asta ever speak about the caste system or wanting to change it.

Then Julius, who thought he was doing so by becoming an Emperor, is an idiot I guess
Where was it shown Julius thought he could do that by becoming Emperor?

What power?
The series makes it clear the Nobles' mana and magic are beyond a normal person's.

Julius went along with their claim that Asta was responsible for the possessions and everything that went down, he didn't deny their false claims or try to fight against it.

And again, did they have the gift of ubiquity?

In any case, when it came to fighting they all fought, only the Raikage as head of the alliance remained more in the rear.

You cannot compare the work of Onooki who stopped two meteorites to save everyone's life from that of Damnatio.
Again, they weren't doing anything when the fighting began, which is the point. Your claim that they were busy elsewhere and couldn't help is completely false. They weren't busy elsewhere, they were sitting around doing nothing while everyone else fought and died. They didn't get involved until well after things took a turn for the worst.

At the level of history? Apart from the case of Danzo, when did a damyo's decision move an event?
Why does that matter? The series literally states that the Daimyo are important, important enough that both sides of the war give them some focus. Whether or not they have done something to warrant that doesn't change that they are seen as very important.

Too bad they wanted him dead, and as much as Damnatio may know, they can do anything not to make it happen ...

Then again, what changes in Asta? In the next chapter do we see him angry, doubtful?
Damnatio was the one who wanted him dead, and we saw his disappointment with that. And why would Asta be angry after being saved?

You know, usually things show themselves, I don't think I saw Nolle do what you say .....
We saw her fear beforehand...

And again, how does it affect Asta or the other characters?
At this point? It has given them all reasons to search for more information to help save Asta, which we see with the recent chapter from Noelle.

And how not, so dangerous that one of the strongest (it is not clear which with all the retcon made by Kubo) is killed by Kyoraku without even using the Bankai, so that the same Aizen repudiates them saying they were too weak ...
Good job completely ignoring the actual situation, such as exactly how much fighting it took to get to that point or that Kyoraku is far from a weakling. Also, how does that disprove what was said? It took half the Captains and all the Vizards to fight just three, and the Vizards were an unknown before that point, so where's the lie? In addition, given the ability of Kyoraku's Bankai, he would have lost if he had used it, since Starrk had more spiritual power then him and thus would have lasted longer.

Already, very credible, they do nothing to protect themselves from certain death because THEY DON'T CARE.
They weren't in danger of being killed at that point though. The elves main focus was the castle, and they were mainly on the defensive there. It never got to the point where the kingdom itself was in danger, and we don't know how many Nobles live directly in the capital.

Damnatio is not all nobles, and overpowered? Really ?

In other words, should a guy with the scale overpewered types able to manipulate fate, cut dimensions or eat and suck mana?
Damnatio is one of many Nobles. We were literally shown that Damnatio's magic was able to overcome the rest of the Black Bulls magic, leaving them defenseless, with only Asta's magic saving them.

But what does it have to do with it? They wanted him dead anyway ...
Again, only Damnatio wanted him dead before that point.

There are at least a dozen people who can say yes.
Which doesn't matter, because those people won't be allowed to speak.

I see that I have imagined volume 22 then.
Asta didn't save everyone himself... It was him, Yuno, and Yami who took out the devil. And it was Licht/William's magic alongside Asta's that removed the possession, with everyone else seeing only William's magic. The point is, that Asta couldn't actually claim he himself saved everyone, which is probably why he hasn't.

Who gave the final blow that killed the demon? Asta

Who with his power was relevant both in fighting the demon and in freeing others? Asta ....
That doesn't change that it was a group effort to even get to that point. Asta along would not have been able to defeat the devil, as we saw, and it would have taken a very long time to free everyone.

Ah, why wasn't it before?
Because he matured.

As above, we see that we have read two different manga.
Then please, show or link to an example from the early chapters of Asta showing an understanding of a person's action.

Yeah, in fact Overlord is notoriously a Shonen Jump manga ....
The point is, that hero =/= protagonist.

But who talks about the paesants?

Here we talk about a war that involved THEIR lives and that of the king, We saw Dammatio intervene to save the king from four idiots, but when Ratri p arrived very close to killing the king I imagine he was sleeping .....
Everyone who's not a Noble would be a Peasant. And we don't know if their lives were threaten, since as mentioned, the elves main focus was only on the castle and capital, and we don't know where the Nobles actually live.

Right, that's completely true.

But that never explains .....
And anyway we went from villain with motivations or with a past with which to empathize to a villain which is the exact opposite.
It was explained. The devil literally explained his goal originally was a new incarnation, but he got stopped, so he reincarnated the elves to ensure a new incarnation. He makes his goals quite clear multiple times. And the majority of the villain in this series are like that.

The arc has just began, you can't complain about such til at the very least the end of the next arc.
Almost a volume has passed from the trial, I would say that the material to determine if and how much it has affected on Asta is there.

How was that a conflict with the Nobles? T
He literally told them that he would take the words away and he also attacked a real unleashing the reaction of Nozelle. I would say that it is a real conflict.

How is it a plothole? The Nobles not helping but then framing Asta is the whole point,
The presence of a character with a very useful magic that does nothing for the whole war? The aforementioned character who moves only to save the king from four strangers, but has practically done nothing when the king was one step away from being killed?

The aforementioned character who allows himself to lay down the law to people who risked their lives to save the kingdom or is really dead to do so?

Damnatio was the one who wanted him dead, and we saw his disappointment with that.

they specifically show that the Magic Knights are the military and it's completely on them to protect the kingdom.
In normal situations like a border war, sure, but when powerful beings arrive at home if you have the means to defend yourself alone well, you defend yourself. Or do you mean that they let themselves be killed this way on principle?

Notwithstanding that we always return there, most of the Magic Knights are noble.

The "Royal" families have no power,
Then neither Damnatio nor Augustus have the slightest power. So what's the point of the royal title?

Or rather, what's the point of having three royal families when just one rule ?

Because his magic comes from a devil and Damnatio considers that evil,
Ok, but what are Damnatio's opinions important?

And more importantly they have need of a fall guy to excuse the actions of the possessed Magic Knights.
Simple solution, you bring Patry and it is said that it is his fault, or simply explain the story of the demon that there are so many witnesses ..

Or not even this subplot is inserted, given that based on what we've seen, no one seems to care about possession.

I'm gonna need an actual link or actual picture
Simply reread the manga to understand it.

Where was it shown Julius thought he could do that by becoming Emperor?
Chapter of his death.

The series makes it clear the Nobles' mana and magic are beyond a normal person's.
Too bad that there are several nobles on the part of Asta. Also as I said many times mana you do nothing and if you don't use it, a commoners could very well beat a nobleman with no experience in battle.

Julius went along with their claim that Asta was responsible for the possessions
He really convinced everyone to save their lives. In any case, this is another interesting idea that has not been studied in depth.

Again, they weren't doing anything when the fighting began, which is the point.

Wait, you say so because during the war we mainly see the first fronts in action, but in reality Gaara, Oonoki and Mei from the beginning are active in their respective fronts (Kage resuscitated and Damyio).

Damnatio was the one who wanted him dead, and we saw his disappointment with that.
So why didn't he continue?

What changes the opinion of Julius or the other captains? Both he and the nobles have absolute power ...

And why would Asta be angry after being saved?
I don't know, being treated as the worst criminal after saving the kingdom?

The threats to his family?

Nothing?

Damnatio is one of many Nobles. We were literally shown that Damnatio's magic was able to overcome the rest of the Black Bulls magic, leaving them defenseless, with only Asta's magic saving them.

He really only reduced it, they could still use it.

And even with reduced magic we have people who cut dimensions, who control fate, who absorb mana, who even eats it ....

I want to see how long Damnatio survives against Charmy hybrid mode. Also with the reduced magic, what kept Yami from smashing his face with his fists?

We saw her fear beforehand...
Sure, for one, and I say one, vignette.

Good job completely ignoring the actual situation,
But just read the manga.

In light of what has been seen, Hitsugaya's phrase has no meaning, since one of the strongest enemies is defeated without even using the Bankai from one of the strongest captains and Aizen himself considers the Epsadas too weak to serve him.

In other words, if all the high-level captains and shinigami had their bankai immediately, at least the Aizen army was halved in two seconds.

They weren't in danger of being killed at that point though.
Ah no? How strange I remember that the elves who entered the Silva home made a massacre, not to mention the nobles who fled in terror during the battle between Yami and Charla.

All very strong I guess.

Which doesn't matter, because those people won't be allowed to speak.
Based on what ?

Asta didn't save everyone himself...
That doesn't change that it was a group effort to even get to that point
He didn't do everything by himself, but it was decisive to say the least. Indeed we say that if he was not there the demon would have killed everything and everyone.

Then please, show or link to an example
Just reread the manga.

The point is, that hero =/= protagonist.
Not in a Shonen Jump manga.

And we don't know if their lives were threaten, since as mentioned, the elves main focus was only on the castle and capital, and we don't know where the Nobles actually live.
The nobles all reside in the noble region, where the capital is located and we have seen numerous nobles being killed or attacked by the elves ....

Right, that's completely true.
For once we agreed.

It was explained. The devil literally explained his goal originally was a new incarnation
Ok, but the reasons? A bigger scheme than just "I want a body?"
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Living in poverty is experiencing the affects of discrimination in his skin, since is the prejudice that makes Asta lives in that condition.
But it is an indirect thing, not a direct one.

And c'mon Asta is always being judged and criticized for being a commoner, he knows how bad prejudice is.
Asta is a paesant.

And one thing is insults, another are death threats to you and your family.
These are things that should make you angry in the newsroom.

And Asta knows how nobles can be perverse, he lost recent experience, the trial, show this,
But then take advantage of it, make it mature, open Asta's eyes, but no, it didn't happen ....

he almost died because of the nobles.
?????
What ? When ? Where ?

And Langris, count since he was a noble using his status to judge his brother.
No, it was unusual behavior, something pointed out by many.

I think this had a pretty big impact on Asta, since this was what molded his dream
Then, SHOW IT.

Those people show how the world still corrupt and that things don't change from day to night. The nobles are there since the begging they're enemies who can't be defeated with punches, they're the final barrier for Asta and his friends, in the way to change the country. The nobles hold all the political power of the country in their hands, they're pretty powerful.
Too bad that on the side of Asta there are two royal families and most of the Magic Knights.

And the nobles who were magic knights fighted, while the nobles who aren't run way from danger
And the Magic Knights are mostly on the side of Asta.

Again, is not Damantio job. Is the job of the magic knights.
Still with this story, do you understand that it doesn't make sense?

If your country is collapsing, you can't stand by and watch "it's not your job"

This makes you a coward first of all then an idiot.

The humans didn't washed they conscience for complete.
Of course yes, the manga shows it.

Patry and Charla were on q dead or live situation,
It does not justify the complete change, a minimum resentment must have it, even a "fix the demon then we charge it for you":
That change from day to night makes no sense.

So like i said, he still has a grudge against humans, but he doesn't hate them anymore.
?????

Um, what?

Knowing about the devil, equate Patry actions to the actions of the humans of the past.
But not at all.

Humans killed the elves of their own accord, they attacked first.

The elves had every right to make up.

He and his group also acted based on hate and made a pact with the devil.
?????

Um, what?

They wished for death for all the humans, because they're blinded by hate,
Exactly, so why should knowing about the demon change things?

No. The elves still having some anger toward humans, but theu want to work on this.
Show it.

that's the fun part of art, you can see this as simplistic and empty, and i can see as something deep and compelling, and both of us are right, since is just interpretation.
Exactly, I consider it empty and simplistic.

I don't think that Tabata is a lazy artist,
Tell me one single move that in the last few chapters was not lazy or sloppy.

And asspulls? I'm sorry but i don't see any asspull in this serie
Let's see....

-Rouge
-Asta new sword
-Yuno who maintain control
- The Devil
- Julius letter.

Heel, the anti magic itself is asspull

I didn't knew about this hangout thread, it's cool to know about it now.

Being poor and loving in hunger, is a indirect thing. But suffering prejudice, is a direct thing.

People tried to kill Asta before, and he still being kind to them. Asta doesn't hold grudge against people, he's a kind guy, who knows that hate is not gonna change anything

He already knew about it, this experience was not shocking enough to make him change. Besides i don't think if Asta became someone who has anger against the world, would make his character better.

The result of the trial was a death sentence, besides that there was that time when the nobles tried to attack him, when he stood up for Noelle, during the ceremony after his first mission.

Asta didn't knew this was unusual behavior for Langris, to him it was just a bad noble, who despised pesants and tried to kill his friend

They show it, everytime they mention his dream and ideals. C'mon Asta said during the elf invasion that he wanted to create a country without discrimination.

These who hadn't any power on the trial. And "most of the magic knights", Asta is friend with a lot of magic knights, but they're not the majority. Some people don't even know what happened while being controlled.

Some friends, not the majority of the knights, a lot of them don't even know what happened.

C'mon i already explained that, the country being on the verge of collapse doesn't change the ideologies the nobles had since birth. Damantio is a judge, not a warrior. And since when the nobles aren't cowards? One of their characteristics is being a bunch of coward who hide behind their status.

The manga doesn't show it

They changes their way of thing during the fight, when their perception of humans changed by their interactions with the humans. They didn't change in seconds, but during the fight. Patry only changed, when his idol said that he was wrong.

He has some grudge against them, hold some anger, but don't have prejudice and hate anymore

Because they discovered that their hate, was stupid and that their actions were not entirely correct. They're being controlled by the hate, just like their enemies.

They showed. C'mon the last thing the elves say, is that they're going to change themselve and search for a new way in life.

And that's is valid. I consider it interesting and good

The entire trial, the search for the devil, nothing of this is sloppy or lazy

Julius latter is not a asspull, we knew Julius had some power on the kingdom, and that he wouldn't let Asta die.
Vanessa power were build during the entire arc, we knew that he had power to control fate. That was the reason, her mother wanted her

Asta new sword is a little forced, but not entirely a asspull, when Litch took his sword, we knew that Asta would gain his sword in exchange.
The Devil was build since the beginning. We knew he would appear, when they showed the forbidden magic of the third eye.
Since the beginning Yuno is showed as a genius who can learn and adapt fast.

People tried to kill Asta before, and he still being kind to them.
But they were all enemies anyway, here we talk about guys that he defended and that in theory should kiss the ground on which he walks.

He already knew about it, this experience was not shocking enough to make him change
I beg to disagree, to be used and thrown like a rag used by the society of which you made yourself protector is something that would leave the sign in anyone.

Asta didn't knew this was unusual behavior for Langris, to him it was just a bad noble,
But Asta does not stop him because is nobleman who abuses his power (non-existent since they were in an exam in which all were theoretically on the same level, but of being an unworthy Magic Knigth

These who hadn't any power on the trial
Some friends, not the majority of the knights,
Most of which are captains or part of royal families.

'mon i already explained that, the country being on the verge of collapse doesn't change the ideologies the nobles had since birth
But...

What does it mean ?

In other words, in your opinion, were they willing to let themselves be killed like animals for ... principle?

The manga doesn't show it
Yes indeed
XD

They changes their way of thing during the fight,
Exactly where? It seems to me that they pass immediately and instantly from the "You must all die, damned humans" to "let us love one another and all against the bad wickedness"

He has some grudge against them, hold some anger,
Really ?

Chapter? Where does it show it?

Because they discovered that their hate, was stupid and that their actions were not entirely correct

But is not so,.

However, humans have exterminated the elves, we have seen it. The demon has only moved events, but humans have still acted as proofs.

If you refer to the fact that they did not have to take it out on humans in the present because they were not responsible, you are partly right (partly because the nobles deserved extermination) but they already knew it, yet they continued their work.

So it makes no sense that they change after the demon is discovered, because essentially this does not change the role of humans.

The entire trial, the search for the devil, nothing of this is sloppy or lazy

Good for you, I think so.

The trial is senseless, the search for a demon and its motivations are completely senseless and illogical ....

Julius latter is not a asspull,
Desperate situation.

Deus ex machina.

So, an asspull.

Vanessa power were build during the entire arc,
Read above.

Solo perché una cosa è preventivata, non vuol dire che non sia un asspul

Un esempio ? Golden Experience Requiem in Jojo part 5.

The Devil was build since the beginning. We knew he would appear,
The Asta's semon. Not that ridiculous thing

when they showed the forbidden magic of the third eye.
???

But if they didn't know anything about the demon ...

Since the beginning Yuno is showed as a genius who can learn and adapt fast.
Exactly,

An asspull
