There were no light particles around the knights of Stigma when they were being healed, nor around Howzer, King and Diane(and they would know when it happens to them, they'd been healed by her before and they weren't under BoB effect) even though it was stated she'd been healing them throughout the battle. There were also no particles of light around Mel or any other visible representation for whatever she was using to try and hold his "evolution" at bay, yet she was doing it.
There probably were, but as Howzer explained they weren't paying attention. Plus Elizabeth couldn't have healed them because she was completly unconscious. Mel was literally carrying her limp body on his shoulder after she finished. She has never been shown to heal anyone while being ko'ed.

I didn't say she moved them, though that also happened, I specifically showed you how the drills were denting(deforming) their bodies as they pushed through. Show me one of Gowther's "zaps" physically deforming the area of one's body it gets through and it going out the other way with any sort of matter attached the target has on the inside.
Right after Gowther used Nightmare Teller on Dreyfus, Dreyfus found that his body couldn't support himself anymore and he physically became sick. Also keep in mind Gowther's abilities are smaller because they are like light. They still affect the body though, just in a different way, yet still no actual wounds are caused, just internal affects. Just like how he can shut off a person's nervous system. Gowther didn't actually weaken Dreyfus' muscles, the effects of his magic just put strain on the body, yet no damage.

We have no idea about the actual first encounter between Escanor and the other Sins(besides M & M) and we don't know which attitude they encountered first, but we do know they were established from the get go as co-workers/allies. You can't compare with the Elizabeth & TC encounter from the AHW either, as she must've known some stuff about them already, remember that Mel was dishing out info on them at least to her, but still acknowledged them as enemies she had to try and appease.
I don't believe Elizabeth went to Mel(who was infamous, even the AAs implied it with their attitude) ignorant of how dangerous he was. And we don't know yet if all the panels go together in rapid succession, we can't say that just because Mel was wearing the same outfit in most of them.
She has done it before though. She doesn't care how dangerous someone is, she still tries to bring peace. If she didn't go there to talk, then she went their to fight both Zeldris and Assault Mel by herself. Which makes no sense

Huh?! That's hypocritical or naive, it was started cause the rulers are racist morons.
Not the old holy war, this current holy war.

The other was ignored, not thrown out, cause, as I said, she was already cursed and limited in her power. And you simply can't base your assumption on another assumption already proven invalid. Meliodas already acknowledged his reasoning about Zel's power was incorrect, therefore, not even a presumed by fans comparisons fits in there. It would already be proven a fallacy, with Mel as an untrustworthy judge.
Mel did it afterwards, which means that Zeldris' magic seemed more reasonable than say Elizabeth or his magic. I never brought up her body being nerfed either, I just said that at that moment Zeldris' power was more reasonable than Elizabeths. As a matter of fact, Mel only realized that Zel's magic wouldn't work right after he beat Zeldris

Chandler, Cusack, Mel, and Zeldris are ranked higher than Estarossa even though he's royalty. Chandler's rank is even higher than the Commandments, who are supposedly the highest order of demon before Chandler and Cusack were introduced.
Commandments are just the demon elites.

In terms of authority in the deman clan, it technically goes:

Demon King
Meliodas: Prince + Heir to the throne
Zeldris: Prince + representative to the king
Estarossa: Regular prince
Masters: Above everyone else

In the Goddess clan its:

Supreme Goddess
Elizabeth
Four Archangels
Divine Lance Corporal
Fodder

(from what we have seen)

Oh yeah then in that case chandler does have a higher ranking then Zeldris.
No he doesn't.

He's the ''highest ranked of all demons'' but that only implies regular demons outside of the royal family.

If it doesn't, then by ''highest'' you could draw the conclusion that Chandler > Demon King.

But he isn't.

The brothers should be the highest ranked demons besides the DK, they are royalty after all. The same should apply for Elizabeth in the GC.

Well to be fair, only Meliodas and Zeldoris have a higher rank than Chandler, not Estarossa, despite being the son of the DK, he hasn't any special and highest title like: Heir of the DK or Representant of the DK.

They aren't only royalty, they have the highest military grade and authority too. Meliodas being the first, Zeldoris is second.

She passed out in ch 209, after they were already shown on the ground, restored and healthy:-_- Stop replying if you don't have your facts clear, please, and hand over all that tinfoil, cause I'm baking pies and I might run out. Just cause Howzer had an excuse, it doesn't mean it works for King as well.:hmph
Apples and oranges about Nightmare teller, I asked for a visible example where you can see his ability literally putting a physical dent or cut into one's body, not about after-effects:-_-

Just cause she went to talk, doesn't mean it proves she's unaware how dangerous he is or that she'd be powerless against him. In the TC situation she was still aware Stigma and her friends were near by. Since there's no one else in the same panel, it's safe to say that even if there were other people around, they might've been fighting each-other.
And I'm telling you one last time, there's no proof all those panels happened one right after another, or that Zeldris was near by or available for a confrontation with her. For all we know, he could've been faced with an AA or dealing with lesser goddesses. Are you even reading my posts?! Cause this is the 3rd time I'm saying this thing about the flashback.
The current war was started by the TC literally invading Britannia, it has nothing to do with Elizabeth's emotions but with the demons and goddesses still itching for their fight; the Holy War 2 is basicaly a parallel to WW2 which literally started with the invasion of Polland by Germany. It's absurd to not know at least that much about wars.
Mel did what afterwards?!

Highest ranked of all demons means highest ranked of all demons. He's only second to Mel basically because he isn't king. And he's definitely higher than Estarossa, proving that royalty doesn't equal authority.

Same way that in the U.S army, the general is the highest ranking official, but still answers to the President

209 happens right after she purifies them. She's even still in the sky when Mel has to catch her body. But Elizabeth didn't put a physical cut. The attack just draws darkness out without harming the body. How else did they heal themselves when Elizabeth was ko'ed.

Ok this sounds crazy. Elizabeth can now fight Assault Mel and Zeldris. And why would nakaba draw them right after each other? Did Mel just decide to deactivate his darkness? Like I said, Mael and Mel were the main fighters in the holy war. If Mael can't beat Mel, then Elizabeth couldn't.

The holy war wasn't started by the 10C. Their war was over in a month. This is a new war cause by Elizabeth rallying with the 4AA. She even says she needs Ludo to stop Mel, not the TC, not Zeldris, Mel

Then explain to me why the masters act as personal servants to the royal family?

You know, defending them against enemies, making them tea, protecting them etc.

If Cusack is above Zeldris then why act as a personal slave to him?

The brothers are above them because they are sons of the leader of the Clan, Just because Chandler and Cusack are the "highest ranked demons" doesn't contradict this, it just makes them superior to everyone besides the royal family.

I just did using the commander in chief example. Even Japan does something very similar

Mel and Zeldris are basically in line for the throne and therefore are essentially "president-elects"

Chandler is the highest ranked demon, so he has more authority than anyone who basically isn't like a commander in chief. Commander in chief isn't a rank though, it's a position.

Just like how in the Japanese Self Defense forces, the generals are the highest ranked, yet they are controlled by the ministry of defense. The ministry of defense is and of itself not a rank or a position though

Even if you ignore this and go by royalty standards, Zeldris still technically has more of a claim to the throne than Meliodas because Meliodas was never pardoned for his treason. Zeldris technically isn't the DK and cannot pardon him. (But who's gonna split hairs). Estarossa is just a prince and therefore is royalty, but has no real rank or position. In the same way that a Medieval Queen cannot command the army unless she is a regent. Another example, a prince not in line for the throne has no control over generals.
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---
And for the Goddess sake I'll use Elizabeth as an Example

The Supreme Deity controls the Army and Elizabeth is essentially president elect or queen in waiting or whatever you wanna call it.

Elizabeth has no control over the army, that position lies with the Supreme Deity in the same way that Mel has no control of the 10C, but answers to the DK.
Whoever was the general of the goddess clan, which are supposedly the AAs are the ones who control the game. Otherwise if any royal could issue commands, the militaries would be dead. Personal feelings and vendettas would doom everyone. Ludoshel however technically committed treason because of the fact that by going against Elizabeth's orders, he put her in danger.

But Elizabeth didn't put a physical cut.
You have no proof that she didn't, the gory mess on Derrieri's back as the drill comes out makes it look like the skin is pierced and I was constantly claiming she was healing them just as the blob of PoD was out and while they were warping back to their normal forms. And the "Ark and PoD were immaterial all along" claim makes no sense still, we've said it countless times before, the Indura grabbed those drills and were physically pushing them back; when she got the drills through them they were literally stretching out their spines, muscles, skin along the blades, just like in those gory horror or sci-fi movies where aliens or other entities move underneath one's skins, pushing on it before bursting through, how is that hard to even perceive?!

When did I say she would be fighting/"converting" both? Are you trolling, drinking or smoking anything? You're clearly not reading my posts. And I always claimed she had to have some power to make her a match or impressive enough person to Prime Meliodas(who, even in these latest flashbacks, is still the dude his dad claimed to have valued power and excellency above everything else), without caring whether you find it crazy. She took on 2 Indura at the same time for goodness' sake, even if their power doesn't add up, it still makes them 2x the fighting effort.
Meliodas is giving a fast/very brief(if you understand the meaning of the word) account of his past interactions with Zeldris, are you implying that after Mel smacked Zel then faced off with Elizabeth, Zel just turned around and there was Gelda and he decided to grin at her? He was skipping around memories putting them rapidly together into a small story, there's nothing indicating his change was instantaneous.

And there's no instance in the manga stating that the Demons' had already finished with their war, in fact, the very beginning of the Invasion has Zeldris declaring their main plan, besides taking over Britannia. was getting their revenge not only on Mel, but on the goddesses and the rest of the clans. And they failed to take the entire Britannia, seeing as there were still areas resisting, they only managed to fully take over Camelot, with those miles around surrounded by the barrier Melascula was holding up at Corrand. If they hadn't had any bout with the Goddesses, Fairies and Giants, how on Earth would you even assume "their" war was over?!:notsure

Again, just because it has physical properties doesn't mean that it literally causes damage. Gowther's light is physical, yet he doesn't cut through skulls to get to the brain. Elizabeth has never been shown to purify and heal at the same time though. The only time that happened was in part one, where light hurt demons regardless of intent (this has been retconned) Fact is you still have yet to explain how they healed the hole when Elizabeth was knocked out and when Deri and Monspeet couldn't heal themselves.

When did I say she would be fighting/"converting" both? Are you trolling, drinking or smoking anything? You're clearly not reading my posts. Again that doesn't make sense "Let me recall my experience with Elizabeth" "Now let me deactivate my magic for no reason." Look Elizabeth was there for one of two reasons: To negotiate, or to fight.

I have a scan of Elizabeth saying why she needed Ludoshel and the AA, to stop Mel. It's funny how she "forgot about the 10C". Or did she lie to the holy knights about the cause she was fighting for? You need a scan that shows me what she's having people sign up for. If this war is about the 10C, the why is the plan to
stop Meliodas. Not a single mention of the 10C have been made, so why do you say it's about the 10C?
If I was a holy knight I'd be pissed. "What do you mean we're going to be going up against Meliodas and the rest" I thought we were just defeating the stragglers of the 10C!!! Undina said this was about the 10C, not Meliodas!!!"

As for Elizabeth's power, its funny how so far in the manga the only ones to stress anything about her power other than healing or purifying are her fans... Awkward

And for the last part, yes the war was over. Camelot fell and no one could take it back. You cannot have a war where the army isn't even fighting. Arthur was reduced to just being a freedom fighter, so that means that they lost the war. The castle was seized, Arthur no longer was on the throne, by all Medieval standards that means a usurpation happened and the war was lost. This war is new. The old commandment war for Brittania was over because the demons lost all sway over the land. Currently, no one is fighting to regain Camelot, they have only stated the desire to save Mel. Mel is the focus.

No, I mean Chandler VS the Sins. And how she was also busy doing other things while surviving him. Don't forget or ignore the context!
You mean she took one hit, while the others took multiple barrages? And despite taking that ONE hit, she was able to continue focusing on Mel. Yes, not that impressive.

Well, that was the point, if you did disagree, you'd do the latter bit. Without exception.
If someone writes a 5 paragraph essay on why Elizabeth cannot beat Escanor, but one sentence in there is "She can't even beat Howzer". Even though I may not agree with that one sentence, I have no problem liking the post due to the overall message. And no, I do not HAVE to specifically state that I disagree with that sentence just to satisfy your love for Elizabeth. You can conclude that from my own messages, or even just ask me directly.

The panel with Monspeet says it has particular advantage over darkness, not that it's the only element it works on, though, we've seen Ark functioning like basic bombs or laser beams, chopping through forests, mountains, buildings etc, and we've seen that there's no such special natural resistance from a giant(Diane) to a purification spell, so, if Hikari Are can work on them(even though it was casting away corrupted human souls), and if Ark can be used to blast away elements of nature that Fairies and Giants manifest their abilities through or to kill humans like in Rou's flashback, then yes, I stand corrected, we have stuff showing Ark works just fine even on non-demons, as long as it's backed by enough power. Canonically identified power.
I am talking about Ark's offensive capability. Sure, ark can chop through forests, mountains, buildings, etc, but ONCE AGAIN, you just answered the question for me. You said, and I quote, "Monspiet says it has particular advantage over darkness." Yea, no shit, that means it DOESNT, have that particular advantage over non darkness empowered beings. Thank you lmao

And where is it said Charge & Fire is a specific physical attack?! Because crumbling stone doesn't burn skin. I see you're picking on physical stats, by all means, offer a circumstance where the mages were attacked strictly physically similarly to Derrieri's attack on Elizabeth(I've seen already the examples with the AAs, but they have extra benefits from their Graces, so that makes it iffy). Escanor has so far used Solar energy in magic attacks, since it seems that the physical effect only goes into bulking him up.. And I don't doubt the fairy Kings fare better in the magic def respect, Elizabeth does as well, as I mentioned the FC Increase situation. Also, keep in mind it was Increase of the True Form of Chastiefol, not the old one.

Friendly reminder @Commanderaxe, I'm sorry, but I can read English, not shit. So, you'll excuse me if I judge your posts by the rules for the former, and not the latter.:outta
Because crumbling stone doesn't burn skin? What? Also Charge and Fire caused an immense crater. It's a magical attack that caused raw physical damage, as that's what ATTACKS do. Unless you're telling me that the crater was due to the spirit of the rocks being damaged lul. If you look at 2 beings, both with weak physical natures, and compare the damages that they took, you can come to a conclusion that one is more durable than the other. Also magical defense? What? Where'd you pull that from? You're either durable or you're not. The fact that the only thing you're clinging to is literally one manga panel of Elizabeth tanking not even multiple shards of increase, but one shard of increase, (yet it still burned her skill), is sad enough as it is.

You mean you can't read english, period. lmao. Don't get all salty cause you were proven wrong.

You state you can read English, like I haven't forgotten this bit lmao.

You stated:
I already said, try any of her skills, regardless if they fail or hit, it would be consistent with her worried for the others more and frowning attitude when she left with Estarossa. It would be consistent with her overall persona, which has Barbarellie and Liz layers as well, which has the psyche of the woman who went to face the Indura with a Hikari Are, who is supposed to be even the princess who in the CotD arc was futilely trying to pull Chastiefol from the ground to go help the other Sins, went against Freesia's bugs to save the "kid" near Baste, disdainfully ripped Ruin's bell even as he was beating her bloody with his staff or who attacked Derrieri even when she didn't know she had any means to in 188. Hell, she should still be the girl from 2 chapters ago who did use an ark on Estarossa and the Ordeals of Jonah. Nakaba forgot all he built her as in attitude to introduce some mystery goddess, even though he could've done that after she tried something herself.
I Replied:
There's the question of whether she even could at that very moment. Her throat is literally being crushed by a dude who can lift tons with ease. Also all of those "feats" you just mentioned, had nothing to do with directly harming other's. Her attack on Derriere was something she wasn't consciously doing. As for the Ark on Estarossa, as Elizabeth fans put it, was not meant to harm Estarossa in any way. The only way she's getting Estarossa to release her, is to directly afflict harm on him, which even if she was capable of doing, which she isn't, wouldnt align with what we've seen. As nothing in her past displays it would be in her character to do so.
You replied:
So, now you're acknowledging Hikari Are as "damage inflicting"?! Or a simple ark that didn't damage him or his PoD outfit the first time, applied just to get herself released is now acknowledged as "damage inflicting" too?!
To which I then said:

Didn't I just say they WEREN'T directly offensive. Are you even reading my shit
You have the gall to call posts shit yet nothing you said even proved me wrong. You went on about Charge and Fire not being a physical attack, even though I was talking about overall damage and durability. You even then went on to attempt to counter my argument about power of darkness not having a particular advantage over non pod beings by saying that...power of darkness has a particular advantage over pod beings. Nice one. Also not ONCE, did I say that power of light doesnt work on other beings. Again, you've misconstrued my words. This is like, what, the 15th time?At this point, you're just spewing shit left and right just to stay on top. Nothing you say, makes sense, nor does it even have an ounce of credibility. Hell you even say that we should stick to "manga facts" then spew things like "magical defense". Hell you couldnt even counter my first post where you accused me of stating that Elizabeth would lose to the lower tier commandments and I blatantly showed you I didnt state that. Instead of saying "ah shit Commanderaxe my bad my bad" You went on to call my post shit out of mere salt. Pretty sure you're almost trolling at this point but whatev *shrugs*

How to damage 101

If a sword cuts off your arm and you are bleeding to death, the attack was physical in nature 100% because the damn laws of physics aren't having to rewrite themselves.

If a sword slashes through your arm, yet your arm doesn't get cut off, there's no blood, and darkness exits your body (and no one healed you) That shit aint right and has some weird ass property...

Apparently turning the ground into an entire crater isn't physical lmao. The attack may have been magical, but the damage is always physical unless it's something like "let there be light" or a mental attack like Gowther. I have no clue why she's trying so hard, she's so blatantly wrong that it's hilarious.

And to clarify the situations lets just use this

In terms of rankings in the art of military (during the Holy War) it goes
DK
Mel
Chandler
Zeldris
Cusack

The reason for this being A. The DK is still the damn king. B. Mel was basically in line for the throne and as a result would be the DK's proxy of sorts (Same way that Zeldris was). Chandler had the highest rank, Zeldris was only an executioner back then, Cusack is just high ranked. Note: Had Mel not been as strong as he was and had he not been given special treatment, then Mel at most would only be commander of the 10C and would be ranked lower than Chandler

After Mel left it would go
DK
Zel
Chandler
Cusack
Everyone else
The reason being is that Zel was declared the new proxy of the DK and Chandler is still highest ranked in military terms

For the goddess clan in terms of military
Supreme Deity
4AA
Elizabeth
Supreme Deity is obviously the Queen regent, The 4AA are the only confirmed major generals we have so far and Elizabeth has not been given any proxy title or such as stated in the manga. Just because you are a royal doesn't mean you get to have a higher rank than your generals. (This is true even in historical medieval forms). Unless stated otherwise, Elizabeth did not command the same way that Mel can. She had about the same authority as estarossa, in that she was to be respected, but that respect has limits.

Apparently turning the ground into an entire crater isn't physical lmao. The attack may have been magical, but the damage is always physical unless it's something like "let there be light" or a mental attack like Gowther. I have no clue why she's trying so hard, she's so blatantly wrong that it's hilarious.
Yep and notices how Gowther isn't even a fighter himself due to that fact, Nerobasta said that he is one of the 10C who isn't the combat type of the group, that is obvious due to the nature of his attack and magic.

In all mankind history, when it comes to war, the generals of the army have higher authority than any princes or princess in the Army.

For example, if the general said something like: " it is too dangerous your highness, soldiers, escort the highness into the castle. "

Even if the prince or princess reply: " how dare you, I am the royalty here. "

It wouldn't work because the soldiers know that the place of royalty isn't to command the soldiers in war, it is to be in security on the castle, waiting that their army beat the enemy with their life.

That is common sense for anyone who has a slight knowledge in war and history.

And to clarify the situations lets just use this

In terms of rankings in the art of military (during the Holy War) it goes
DK
Mel
Chandler
Zeldris
Cusack
Everyone else

What makes you justify saying that Chandler or Cusack have a higher ranking than the princes of the clan?

The royal family in every clan in this series is always at the top of the food chain in terms of authority. It's clearly that way and I don't see anywhere where it's demonstrated differently.

Just because Chandler is the ''highest ranked demon'' doesn't mean anything, because at the end of the day he bends to Meliodas and Zeldris will, which proves that he is of a inferior ranking.

Yes it does. Because Elizabeth is the princess and daughter of the Queen, it gives her a higher ranking than the Four Archangels. If this wasn't the case then Sariel and Tarmiel, would've ignored Elizabeth's command in the Indura situation and done their own thing with Ludoshel, but yet they had chosen to follow HER order and will.

And you may say they decided to follow her will because of their respect for her, but would that respect triumph their need to eliminate their demons in a literal war? Absolutely not unless they HAD to follow her will, due to her ranking being higher than theirs, and as we know, even if a superior officer's will is ''naive'' or incorrect, you have to follow it down to the letter.

Ludoshel even indirectly told us that Elizabeth had the right to command the AA's, because he commented that the Supreme Goddess would never forgive her actions of saving the Indura and interrupting the Four Archangels process of eliminating demons.

So yes, with common sense and manga events I'm pretty clear that in terms of authoritative ranking, Elizabeth is only second to her mother, the essential Queen of the clan.

No that is not true. In history and in this literature the royal family is not the top of the head in terms of military. A regular prince has no command over those who are higher ranked in military status. Which is why Estarossa wasn't given the rank of highest ranking demons like Mel, Zel, Chandler, and Cusack.

Pick up a history book. Do you honestly believe for a second that any royal can command an army? Commanding an army takes intelligence, fortitude, and courage, and a basic understanding of the arts of war. Which is why not your average royal can command. They chose to follow Elizabeth because they had no orders. Ludoshel doesn't command them because Nakaba confirmed that all the AA are equal. If they want to follow or ignore Elizabeth they have every right since they are the only confirmed generals. Following Elizabeth doesn't mean anything. In fact some generals took advice from lesser soldiers in history, but that doesn't make the lesser soldiers generals. They listened to Elizabeth because they like her, but let me remind you that liking someone isn't illegal lol. They were allowed to change plans because this wasn't an oder from the Supreme Deity. This was a stigma plan

Forgiving Elizabeth is irrelevant. It just means she won't be forgiven by the Supreme Deity. It doesn't make her immune.

An army isn't a car. Being born a royal doesn't give you the keys. Which is why even when Mel was born, Chandler was ranked higher than him.

The proof is in Estarossa, who isn't even given a rank. As a matter of fact he's not even given second in command of the 10C, there is only one leader of the 10C always.

And as mentioned by @Commanderaxe there is a reason why Ludoshel didn't get in trouble, and that reason is because he didn't do anything wrong by ignoring Elizabeth. What was the Supreme Deity supposed to do? Punish Ludoshel for not following a non existent command from a powerless position? Elizabeth was instead punished because she went against the plan by the equivalent of a general. Sariel and Tarmiel weren't punished because as stated earlier, they didn't break any assignments given to them because the whole thing was a stigma plan, not the Supreme Deity's idea

Honestly the community will give Ludoshel charges of treason and then somehow manage to ignore the fact that he never got in trouble for them. Gee I wonder why???
