next issue of V Jump will republish Mashima Dragon Quest oneshot

which means the next issue will have work by so many notable mangakas
Mashima, Toriyama (DBS), Kishimoto (Boruto), Takahashi (YGO)
and the biggest legend of them all Yuuki Nakashima (Kirihoushi never forget)

Bit off-topic but as this is Mashima related so I thought this is the best place to post this.


I am thinking that Mashima maybe planning to start a new series in Jump.Maybe he wants to start a new series like Fairy Tail there.My two cent on this issue.

It'd be a long time before then. Mashima's already juggling Edens Zero on top of the storyboards for 100 Years Quest. Throwing a third whole series into the mix would be overkill, even for him.

This series is just a one shot story. Mashima already posted a drawing of this boy last year on twitter. He will draw and write his backstory before he joined some crew or something like that. I don't know this game plot (cuz it's about computer / console game).

I'm not the one you should be telling that to.

Blame it on Boruto, I do not know why they put them together.

It was an XD joke.

This has always been for FT, it has always been very popular and at the top in France.

That's why Mashima loves XD and loves to come to us.

Complementing this information, Fairy Tail sold 880k copies with only 2 volumes and a re-release of the discounted manga, the numbers of Fairy Tail in France are brutal, and wait if the 100-year mission has a good reception (I'm sure it will be like this) )

Although yes, what is One Piece and Fairy Tail in France compared to others, the difference is too big in sales, although My Hero Academia is growing exponentially, but it still lacks.

Definitely each volume sold above 100k copies,and in a magazine like WSM this is a pretty good feat.

For the WSM it seems decent, but not for the FT franchise, being one of the best selling series in the history of this magazine, I think it can sell more, but it is still very young and its publication is biweekly, which makes me which may affect a little, but yes, with these sales it is enough to be the best selling series of the Magazine Pocket (and that we do not have sales worldwide).

Mashima and Ueda are doing very good work, it is a sequel that respects the simplicity of the series, but returning to its roots, which makes it too entertaining and enjoyable, hopefully we can see in the future its animated adaptation, which I see very possible in fact.
