All this is cool to me. Their culture doesn't seem far off from a real-world's culture.... except being the most op people on the continent lol

"Fashion apparel for women are widely recognized that they have a more bare and suggestive connotation, instead of the norm of a clothed and an unrevealing aspect towards it"----lol true. Brandish, DiMaria, Bisca... they all barely wear clothes

The last paragraph backs my belief that the 12s are literally not really "bad guys".. they're actually simliar to how Fiore functions, except with the miltaries and stuff. The 12s just go with the flow and follow through with Zeref's orders (most of the time). They have everyday interactions like we would have. In 484 Randi mentioned how her Irene don't really talk much (makes sense cause she's one of the newer 12 and she's probably always M.I.A) but she knew August since she was a kid... I like how the 12s are like all of varying ages and stuff, makes it feel like a regal or royal lineage to become one or something. Might be why these guys are my favorite "villains" after OS

"Some, if not apparently most or all, of the Spriggan 12 appear to have knowledge of Zeref's past, such as his real name, his relationship with Mavis Vermilion, and his future plans, thus showing a great level of trust between them"----yup, Invel knew Zeref's real name, Wahl knew Fairy Heart was his former lover's body (lol), the future plans was explained at the meeting on wanting to annihilate Ishgar

Hope we get backstories, flashbacks, more interaction on them in the future

The Twelve Shields of Spriggan's era is on the way to its end. The remaining are 6 members, but we still don't know what magics these remaining members have yet. The Twelve also have epithet. Being curious about their magic and epithet is sometimes fun. Now that their epithet have been known, I'd like to relist them:

1. August, The Magic King (魔導王/Madō-ō)
2. Irene Belserion, The Scarlet Scourge (緋色の絶望/Hiiro no zetsubō)
3. Invel, The Winter General (冬将軍/Fuyu shōgun)
4. God Serena, Hybrid Theory (ハイブリッドセオリー/Haiburiddo seorī)
5. Dimaria Yesta, The Valkyrie (戦乙女/Ikusa otome)
6. Brandish μ, Country Demolisher (国崩し/Kuni kuzushi)
7. Bradman, Grim Reaper (死神/Shinigami)
8. Wahl Icht, The Adjudicator (審判者/Shinpansha)
9. Ajeel Ramal, The Desert King (砂漠王/Sabaku-ō)
10. Jacob Lessio, The Assassin (?)
11. Neinhart, Wizard of the Heart (?)

As we know that Larcade is still mysterious, is there any reason Mashima-sensei hiding him until almost last? Who is he? What is his epithet? What kind of magic does he possess? What will his look and character be like? Who will he fight?

It's obvious Larcade is the last 12 but for some reason I'm seeing people say he could be Bradman's lackey or something. Heine basically confirmed this week: "You have to add the -sama to their name! Even if they're not your commanders, they still outrank you idiot!!" in crunchy and in stream she called them their "superiors" even if they're not directly under them. -sama in english means either "Lady" or "Lord" so he's the last 12, unless Hiro trolls

On his magic and abilities the two things on his back look like either swords or guns so he could be a long range type of fighter. Not Neinhart who's a summoner/puppeteer type but more of an archer/shooter type. He could be close to Wahl but Wahl showed he has functions for close combat so Larcade could be strictly long range, we'll see

Side note regardless if they lived up to your expectiations or not I literally been enjoying each one as they're revealed, just something about them that makes them all cool and different from any villians we've seen in the past.. maybe just cause they're not from Ishgar and all reputed to be the strongest on the continent. Too bad for Goddy though

What about Invel's personality? I see him as a cold-hearted person, sticking to and obeying the laws, more or less similar to Lahar, but at some point I can see him being out of control. Kinda like split personality. But it is just me.

I also wonder about his magic. One of his magic is most likely Ice Make. What is his other magic? Not getting off-topic, some people said that he is an Ice God Slayer. If he is, what will a God Slayer vs a Devil Slayer be like? Can a God Slayer eat devil slaying magic? Can a Devil Slayer eat god slaying magic?

I think Invel is the Ice God Slayer too, that would be dope. His eyes are a cool-looking red color too, so me personally he could have an eye power, maybe can shoot beams like Cyclops from X Men lol. But only thing definite we know is he uses a type of ice magic

Mashima wrote once (after Tartar arc in journal) that he was going to make Gray Ice Dragon Slayer, but since there are Gajeel, Laxus and Wendy in the guild Mashina changed his mind. He decided to give Gray unigue power. I just want to say that Mashima could changed his mind again and give Gray Ice Dragon Slaying Magic. I would have said that Invel is really Ice Slayer (just because Gray must to get new great power if he wants to defeat END), but Dragon or God it is not so important.

It's deff not the Dragon Slayer cause Acno confirmed it was 8 left before murking God Serena and making it only 7. Devil Slayer not it either cause that's Gray already. If he was a slayer God would be the only option, plus the prospect of black ice is dope

Yes, but with Mashima you can never be sure certain. We have already seen how Mashima just cast logic and wrote all he pleases. For example, Acnologia reached to the north for 15 chapters. Cool...

When predicting magic it's always good to use what little you know and then think how you could make it really good. Or dope.

yup I agree, just picturing him using it would be cool to see, wouldn't mind seeing another slayer within the 12 or the squads. Him using glaciers, avalanches, or blizzards I'm all down with too. He was kinda dry at first but I thought it was cool when he rallied the west troops, showing a bit of his personality other from being Zeref's yes-man

DiMaria was more in shock of seeing Sherria really possessing God slaying magic, saying she "wasn't bluffing" on really having it. I'm positive a God would of heard of the people who specifically were born to kill you lol

I can recall it right that I ever stated that Invel is able to make such things in Spriggan 12 Magic thread Here is my old post:

I speculate Invel has vast MP to cast a terrifying ice storm, just like Ajeel's sandstorm.

Him using climate/weather-changing magic instead of Irene would be shocking, surprising in my opinion. Such plot twist.

Oh you have a good point there. Then he should be non-slayer wizard. Can't wait for Invel's magic

I suddenly think that Neinhart's magic could have been more powerful. With his Historia, he could have summoned Nirvana or Tower of Heaven or Plutogrim. Not just "mages". What do you guys think? When the southern war was still on chaos, the presence of Nirvana alone could threaten the forces greatly. The port of Hargeon is on the verge of being wiped. LOL,
P.S. Sorry if I bring Neinhart into talks again. I'm still far from being satisfied seeing the capability of Spriggan 12's magic.

Well he was shown to create mages and demons,so could he also create dragons? ( that would be OP )

I think Neinhart was limited to creating entities with equal or less amount of MP than his. Nirvana, even if you consider an entity, or a living thing, is supposedly above his MP. Same goes for dragons or for fallen Spriggans such as God Serena...

Since Bradman's capabilities and magic were fastly shown and badly explained, I made a character profile about him to make things more clear. In my opinion his page from the Fairy Tail wikia was pretty complicated. I wanted to share it with you because why not.

First Seal: Magical Barrier Particles
Once the First Seal is used, Bradman creates Magical Barrier Particles which will poison anyone who is in possession of Ethernano. Bradman normally only has to use his First Seal to kill his opponents. Once he doesn't succeed, he'll use the Second Seal.

Once the Second Seal is used, Bradman summons an endless field of corpses. He uses this attack to make his opponents drown in a sea of skulls. Once he doesn't succeed to kill his opponents, he'll use the Third Seal.

Once the Third Seal is used, Bradman releases a whirlpool of skulls which is stated to be able to steal the life of his opponents.

Body of Magical Barrier Particles

Thanks to his body made of Magical Barrier Particles, he is untouchable for most attacks and able to move like a mist. This skill gives him a better speed and a very high defense rate.
