Some random trivia about Larcade thanks to the lovely @Crescent_jinxgrace
I figured out something about larcade tho
Why he got beat by sting. Or something Mashima could use later on regarding his defeat.
Light dragon slaying warded off the white light aspect of Larcade's magic.
Orgasm magic - sex - sex
Produces life.
Hunger and Sleep by shadows.
Shadows like darkness could be death.
Life and death.
Light and dark.
So Larcade could have been produced balance of Mavis (or Anna at this point) light and Zeref darkness.
Thus August was maybe saying he needed to be beaten by his mother (light) but maybe he had to be beaten by light and darkness..... life and death.
Just like curses and magic produce One Magic.
The Tower of Heaven produced by sacrifice (death) and magic to bring about life.
Eclipse gate is made from the the books of Zeref
And Celestial magic.
If that makes any sense.

Since I've been bored these past few days and I've been fond of Zodiac Signs lately, I made a list of Spriggan 12 as Zodiac Signs based from their personalities and representation. When I said "Zodiac Signs," What I meant were the characteristics of Zodiac Signs in REAL LIFE not in the world of Fairy Tail, 'cause I've noticed that some of the Zodiac Signs in Fairy Tail were not represented well, like for example Aries, she's supposed to be a fire sign with low temper but in Fairy Tail, Aries is a sweet and harmless zodiac, so I used the very definition of Zodiac Signs in REAL ASTROLOGY and not in Fairy Tail Logic.

Invel - Aquarius (quiet, serious, aloof, intellectual)
Bloodman - Aries (cruel, violent, impulsive)
Jacob - Cancer (LOYAL, like cancer Jacob possesses loyalty to his comrades, and it was shown when God Serena had a hard time facing the GOI, he was ready to support him. Furthermore, when God Serena was felled by Acnologia he was ready to retaliate until August said that it's a futile decision to go against Acnologia's caliber.
Brandish - Pisces (Overly trusting, martyr, emotional, likes being alone, and gentle. It's funny 'cause I have a friend that acts exactly like her and she also has the same Zodiac Sign and when you search it up, Brandish is literally Pisces based on her personality.)
God Serena - Leo (Exuberant, flamboyant, energetic, humorous, loves to have the spotlight, and can also be arrogant at some times.)
Ajeel - Sagittarius (PROMISES MORE THAN CAN DELIVER, very impatient and UNDIPLOMATIC.)
Dimaria - Taurus (VERY POSSESSIVE especially towards Brandish LOL)
Irene - Scorpio (Alluring, mysterious, secretive, violent, and manipulative. Irene's confidence gives her an aura of a Scorpio, which is dominant in nature.)
August - Virgo (Wise, detailed, cognizant and critical, ALL WORK AND NO PLAY, those are the main characteristics of Virgo and August clearly suits all of the description.)
Larcade - Libra (Harmonic, balanced, diplomatic, gracious, and peaceful but even with all of these traits Larcade has some serious issues with Zeref's love towards his brother Natsu, and like him, Libra can carry a great grudge at some circumstances and will never forget it.)
Wahl - Gemini (Adaptable, sociable, and communicative but can also be serious and restless. Like Gemini Wahl has two faces of personalities that can be shown based from his two forms.)
Neinhart - Capricorn (Aside from he looks like a goat LOL. Neinhart was shown to be stubborn and doesn't like to work with comrades, like Capricorn, he sets on his own path from where he will not deviate.)

August I like because of his friendly ways with Brandish, and he was at least going to hear out FT which was good of him (he did contradict himself a bit after his treason speech to Brandish but nvm). God Serena is still awesome even with the least panel time of the Spriggans smh.

Tbh, I change my favourite character rankings really frequently, not just the Spriggans but other characters as well. Although Acnologia always stays at number one

August, Jacob, Brandish, DiMaria, Larcade, Invel, and Ajeel are all from Alvarez. They are natives. Irene, Neinhart, Wall, Bradman, and Serena are all immigrants.

August and Jacob are fellow old gentlemen haha. Respecting each other, admonishing one another. They were often seen drinking tea/coffee together at backyard in afternoon. August be like "How's it going, Jacob?" and Jacob be like "Oh all good, August-san".

Brandish, DiMaria, Invel, Ajeel, and Larcade are probably at around the same age. Brandish and DiMaria are bestfriends, which their friendship was somehow broken later. August is like their grandfather. I can imagine kid Brandish being close to August. "Grandpaaa, good morniiing!!!"

Both Irene and Serena are from Ishgar. Irene likely moved to Alvarez right after giving birth to Erza, but still she is not close to other Spriggans like Brandish and DiMaria. I think she likes to be alone... Serena is the last Spriggan. He's been acquainted with them only in 1 year. Neinhart is mysterious. Likes to be alone as well. Irene brought him with her..

Both Wall and Bradman are non-human race. Wall is a machina. Bradman is a demon.

That's a pretty good chart. I want a spin-off entirely focused on this now... Brandish can be the main character, she'd probably be the best viewpoint character out of all of them.

• Neinhart is between Dimaria and Brandish. They probably pick on him
• Between Brandish and Wall is Bloodman, non-humans gotta stick together
• Jacob is in between August and Ajeel cause he respects August
• Irene next to God Serena, dragon-to-dragon slayer, Ishgar-to-Ishgar connection. Plus she's close to Zeref so two seats away is fair

I think you're pretty much right, but I would've thought that seeing Neinhart's respect for Irene he might be closer to her in the seating arrangement. That's my only thing against that.

Like if time is stopped, Dimaria should not be able to see either since light won't be refracted from her eyes (and she ain't no God of Light) nor can she injure or pain her opponents since the attacks never reach the target's organs or their pain receptors because time is stopped. There is so many inconsistencies with it lol, I swear time-related stuff is one of the biggest things authors in general tend to get wrong.

For your light question: Yeah it was ever brought up by @Skibbie in a thread in Domus Flau few months ago. The worst thing is, don't think of it too deeply. Let's just say DiMaria stops everything except herself and the light.

For your pain receptors question: Well that's why she likes to toy with anyone who is under her Age Seal effect. She said herself "What if I behead one of them, and when I revert the time back to its normal state, they will be shocked because their friend has no head anymore". The most exciting part is after she undoes Age Seal.

Well without getting into physics that I'll probably get wrong anyway, I'd say she can cut someone and they'll bleed a bit, but their heart won't beat so pressure won't keep the bleeding going (if this makes sense). Age Scratch shouldn't work because the person needs to experience it, so DiMaria would have to undo the seal for it to work.
