Well this is my first review ever, and, in english... oh man I hope it will not look strange.

Dear Boys

First of all, if you haven't notice yet, Dear Boys isn't a yaoi Manga, the name can be suggestive, but in fact is a sports Manga, a basketball sports manga to be more precise.

I have to agree that this series doesn't start very well it has a old fashion look and a very bad art, but for a Manga that started in 1989 (?) I think that it was ok I guess, even though the autor brings an interesting story of a super shot ace that enrolls in a unknown team and revives it, how typical can this be? I might think...

Ppl might think that this is a trivial sports manga but I believe that it's much more then that, the author answers questions like "Why did that guy transfer schools?", "What's wrong with this team?", "Can they make it to survive?", "Will they be acknowladge by the others?", "Who will date who?".

The art of this series will improve gradually and the sports action scenes will give us the thrill to wish for more, but apart of that all we will see the growth of a high school kids connected to this wonderful sport, their mistakes, their success, their friendship and their love for...
