So it seems two of the participants out of the tournament returned to headquarters while the tournament continues. I think the end of next weeks chapter will have the others being notified of the assault on headquarters and racing to the scene but the main focus will be on hollow rabbit and possibly revealing the other henchmen. And despite Kagamigami's ranking, I don't think there was ever any intention on the tournament having a natural ending. Always thought it was weird the 1v1 tournament was the second of three stages of the exercise instead of the last.

edit: While I'm glad that the story is moving on from the tournament, I recognize it was crucial in fleshing out characters that I did not care about.

There are six antagonists, so I except there to be team ups in the upcoming battles.

I don't think this could end well for the assosciation, Hollow rabbit took out Shido pretty easily and he was consiered top dog among them and I bet the henchmen aren't slouches either. I would expect only Karasuma, Kaito and Eyepatch to be able to stand up to them yet we don't know how much time it will take for the information about the assault to reach the battleground and for them to return.

I want to see what happens if they return to late and the building is decimated

I don't think it was ever stated that shido was a top guy, but one of the top three violent members. I'm guessing the other two are eyepatch and crazytie. We also don't know how strong the secretary is. She may be able to hold them off until reinforcements arrive. I do think we'll be seeing a lot of fodder agents slaughtered next chapter. BTW who was the headless corpse? Could that have been screw guy? Looking at the 9th page of chapter 19, I don't think kaito actually killed screw guy.

I know this asking a lot but I really want mako to develop some kind of offensive ability. she doesn't need to defeat a henchmen but she needs to be able to do something. It was so disappointing when the end of chapter 17 made it look Mako was gonna fight screw guy but in the next chapter she was nothing but a cheerleader.

I don't think it was screw guy and I certainly hope it isn't since he had tall boots and the corpse has short shoes and different clothes. My guess of Shido's strength is by his place in the tournament. I'm with you on the Mako part, I'm picturing somewhat of a Hiro Mashima manga kind of relationship between Kagami and Mako in terms of plot relevance.

Hero and Heroine go on missions together, Heroine has untapped potential yet stays weeker than the hero, them being a good pair is always wondered yet never outright said. I would advise you to read Rave master since IMHO it is less cliche than what Fairy tail has become after it's first 3 years or at least a summary about the hero pairs

Haru X Elie or Natsu X Lucy.

Next capter will be available 1 day earlier since the issue will be out on Saturday

I think the associate members actually have a chance of surviving. Those henchmen are definitely fodder. It looks like they're basically level2 fake shikigami user. Half of the team used themselves as a shield for Hollow Rabbit so she/he could infiltrate the building. It would seem the main objective is not to take down the shikigami associate but for the henchmen to keep the association busy long enough for Hollow Rabbit to acquire whatever is beneath headquarters. The only one not in a fight is the skeleton face guy.

It's too bad they scanlated the oneshot just to post recruitment ads. I don't think substitute scans has updated its site this whole month, which is almost over. School has started so maybe members are just busy. It's frustration not have understanding of certain plotlines beside what can be interpreted from images. Still don't know what eye-patch has against kyouske. Eye-patch guy! That's what I call him. Don't even know most of the new characters' name. With its ranking so low and possibly being canceled next ranking whether or not the series tank, I don't see anyone else picking it up.

anyways, about this week's chapter:

So events I expected to happen last week comes a week later. In the middle of pumpkin and eye-patch battle shikigami members are alerted of the attack on the headquarters and race to its location. Curious why everyone was arguing with eye-patch on the way there. I thought Hollow Rabbit was trying to retrieve something stored under the facility but with the state of headquarters at the end of the chapter it seems she is summoning something.

I at least plan on learning how to redraw and try helping Substitute scans in this project. I have no idea how and I've never worked with photoshop yet I do want to do for this series more than just be bitter it doesn't have a steady scan even though it deserves one. If someone is also interested in joining me you can PM.

I'm planning on translating this manga, starting from chapter 5 where substitute scans left off even though Vinceled has already done translations for ch5 and 6 for them. According to their website their "cleaners internet is busted", whatever the hell that means and that was posted in July. Given it's 2015 and internet being 'busted' for more than a few days is almost unheard of, and even if they did have continuing outage issues from their ISP I'm pretty sure you would take a lot shorter than 3 months to get it fixed. The more likely reason is that the cleaner got tired of doing it but didn't just want to say sorry I'm giving it up for now so came up with that excuse instead. It's a shame, people Editing shouldn't feel like they are pressured to do more than they feel like. Anyway, look out for translations starting in the next few days. I've spoken with the Manga Editor who was also doing mahou shoujo of the end and it seems like he might be happy to do Kagamigami as well so there should be a Manga Editor good to go as well.

Yep I think he uploads it to the Senmanga reader because he gets the raws from that website. I'm not actually a 'part' of that Edited Manga group, my translations are all public. He just is the one who is working on the two series I'm currently translating.

I tell you though, I really hope we see less of Karasuma. His accent makes it difficult to translate half of his panels.
