The fantasy was a good joke aka Sanji wanting the suke suke to peep cause we laugh at his frustration and pervy anger but him actually doing it is a bit more creepy no?

Sanji's my boy, but he's been portrayed as both. Back when this invisibility dream was revealed, he mentioned that he would peep anyway without the ability to turn invisible, something we legit saw him do back in Alabasta, when he took the opportunity to ask where the woman's bath was while the crew was relaxing in the bath. He's jumped at the chance to grope a woman when given the option by Kalifa. Sanji's a straight up perv.

That being said, I'm not going to argue that one should just brush this aside as a gag. Folks can recognize it as a gag and not find it funny or see potential issues with it. I mean, hell, I dislike the Momosuke gag because he's actively groping the ladies under false pretenses. It's a gag, sure, but it's another form of creepy. YMMV.

Anyway, I actually expect this gag to either be done after this or to be followed with a gag of the suit being unusable anymore and Sanji's dream being cut short.

In any case, kinda wanna address Sanji's past fights:

Sanji did pretty well against Absalom, despite the fact that Absalom could disappear. Hell, he did such a great job in weakening Absalom that even Nami was surprised her second thunder attack actually took down Absalom. He also was one of the few people to stay conscious after Kuma's ursa shock attack thingie.

On Fishman Island, Wadatsumi was weak, and it seems he still is. Sanji didn't need to team up with Jinbei, he could have done a quick work on his own, or Jinbei could have. In fact, the only Fishman worth anything was Hodi, and that's only because of the drugs, otherwise Zoro would have one-shotted him.

Punk Hazard: Vergo did fracture Sanji's leg, but he was still moving like he never got hurt. Sanji also said he'd be in trouble if the fight continued, but how many times have we seen characters say that only to win in the end? If Vergo didn't use hardening against Sanji, then I can see him losing. Plus, Law was able to beat Vergo solely because of his devil fruit, not because his haki could get past Vergo's defense.

On Dressrosa, Sanji managed to save the crew and kept impeding Doflamingo to the point that Doflamingo decided to bind Sanji and finish him before going after the others. Remember, Luffy was caught in the same binds too at the end, but he was able to escape only because of Gear 4. Sanji also managed to get his group away from Big Mom's ship and danger.

When it came to WCI, Sanji saved his crew yet again by baking a cake. Without that cake, Big Mom would have destroyed the ship, and Luffy would have likely been killed if he made it out of the Mirror World. Sanji did a two-fold here, and we all should have expected him to bake the cake to save the citizens of WCI because that's who Sanji is. Literally, his introduction was about him feeding potential enemies despite knowing that because he doesn't want anyone to go hungry. Hell, flashback in this arc even established Sanji's kindness ever since he was a little kid, despite what his dad and siblings put him through.

Sanji was only losing because he had already allowed himself to take a massive beating from that Iron Wall guy. That is like crediting the Big Mom fodder as beating Luffy after he was hurt by Sanji and Cracker.

Yeah, it looks like injuries wouldn't keep Sanji down anyway. Dude will keep on fighting, he was even willing to take Enel's lightning strike head-on again!

And thinking about it, Sanji's the perfect complement to Luffy and Zoro. Where both try to power out of problems, Sanji uses ingenuity and thinks ahead.
