Summary and Preview
Hugh Anthony Disward, called Hughie, has inherited his bibliomanic grandfather's amazing library in England. Along with the ordinary book collection, the library contains Dantalian's Bookshelf, which stores dangerous supernatural books that contain the wisdom of demons. Along with his new partner, the mysterious, raven-haired, doll-like girl Dalian, it is now Hughie's task to retrieve any of these demonic books that have been scattered across the country.
