Summary and Preview

Ansei Era, Japan. Shoutarou and Gentarou are brothers who became orphaned after their mother died of cholera. Before she died, she told them to master the sword in order to become strong and be able to survive the harsh world so they started travelling and met Seizou who promised them a place where they could have food and learn swordmanship. However, they would soon find out that things are not as good as they believe. [dareka]

Sidooh is a compelling tale of two orphaned brothers that aspire to become samurai...but along the way they get involved in a super-creepy cult. Supremely drawn; and it has one heck of plot. I don't want to give away any more details; but it's certainly a shame that this manga's greatness can never be realized because there isn't enough support to keep it scanned/translated. So far, there are 41 scanned/translated chapters out here, but the story has progressed up to chapter 213 raw! I sure hope that some group will see its potential and pick it up someday; otherwise it will be one of the 'great ones' that will fade into obscurity and the fans will give up on it and move on.
