Summary and Preview

A new HR teacher, Chun-woo is not your ordinary teacher with his wily ambitions. After unexpectedly witnessing his great power, Shin-woo begs him to teach him so he can become stronger. Chun-woo claims he can only teach Shin-woo after he throws his body into a deep river to prove his will. However, Shin-woo didn't know his master was much stronger than he could possibly imagine. He was a killer with mastery of nine martial arts who was hiding himself after a big mission!

The Breaker: New Waves is a sequel to this story.

Review by Quetz
Weak kid meets strong master, and through a series of events gains a power that he is unable to use without nearly killing himself; its an interesting twist on the whole weak-to-strong thing, since the protagonist actually already has the power at nearly the start of the series, he just is unable to tap into it. Art is reminiscent of immortal regis/superior/veritas, but I find the action scenes a great deal easier to follow. The plot is fairly interesting, and I haven't been as interested in any one manga in a long time.

Just to give you an idea of how I think The Breaker fits into the list to the right ("Users also liked"), I'd support everything on the list except Code:Breaker and Defense Devil. The Breaker ranks right up there with veritas or psyren. Permalink " "

i rated this manga a 5 which is a bit disappointing considering there are not enough numbers to adequately describe the level of EPIC Permalink " "
