Sadashima fell in love with a handsome sempai while she was in high school, but didn't have the guts to tell him before he graduated and moved away. When Sadashima graduates the next year, she follows her sempai, Shirahai, to Tokyo and manages to move in next door. She totally believes that the two of them can now hook up, and can't wait to knock on his door to 'coincidentally" find themselves neighbors.
She's flabbergasted to find a woman answering Shirahai's door, and then blown away to find out the woman is Shirahai! He's had a sex change!
Typical apartment love-comedy, with the standard assortment of perverted and batshit neighbors.

Another slow week. I don't have much to say about this week's batch of manga, so here's some comments from tethysdust:
Quote:
There seems to be a lot that were more like short stories this week... Kyoukai Sensen and Yume no Atogaki were basically a collection of stories about a group of people. (And of course Boku wa Onna no Ko was just a collection of completely unrelated stories).
Kyoukai Sensen was actually not really a fighting manga, despite the fact I've often seen that kind of premise most often used for fighting mangas. It was a lot more of a drama piece.
Heroman seemed like it was written for elementary school boys.
Aratama Tribe was interesting, and had lots of action. It seemed more like a shounen than a shoujo to me.
Yume no Atogaki: very realistic, just everyday life stories.
Anyway, if you're looking for something to scanlate, new translator brianma has
translated the shoujo manga
Ai Kara Hajimaru from last week so give them a warm welcome. Also, no one has scanlated the
Rico one-shot despite it being translated by 2 translators so check out the translations from
AyameForPresident and
Meriken and give them a nice thanks for their translations.
It is one of the better shoujo manga out there.
Herman seemed like typical shounen for me o_O
Kyoukai Sensen . . . is it a collection of oneshots? Seems like it when I browsed the raw. I'm not sure what to think of it. It had been different from what I thought it would be . . .
The rest I haven't checked out yet. Hehe.
Basically, yeah. Each chapter in Kyoukai Sensen is a story focused on a different set of characters dealing with the disaster.
Thanks a lot, Laika! Always looking for good stories in dealing with gender/identity and sexuality.
@Boke.
I agree! You do deserve an award for this! Thank you for your great work!
well i like his appearances in the marvel superhero movies ^_^ i've never read any manga by him before
Yume no Atosaki
Seriously, these two are groovy and then some
Hopefully Heroman will be more gripping than Karakuri doujis...
Really dig the art in Aratama. Thanks for sharing.
