J.Comi Posts First Two "Purified" Series Full volumes of "Player wa Nemurenai: The Man Lost in the Network Labyrinth" and "Miracle Hime Jubilee" available for online reading after J-Comi's "purification". "Love Hina" and "Mahou Sensei Negima" mangaka Akamatsu Ken's J-Comi manga distribution site had earlier announced an "Illegal Out-of-Print Manga File Purification Project", wherein they would allow users to upload illegal and out-of-print manga files, and then J-Comi would "purify" it, adding advertising to the files and then distributing it online with the blessings of the original mangaka.
J-Comi posted the first two series, Kurosawa Tetsuya and Masaki Hidehisa's "
Player wa Nemurenai: The Man Lost in the Network Labyrinth", and Miyao Gaku's "
Miracle Hime Jubilee" and both can now be read for free on the site (in Japanese only). Previously available series were Akamatsu's own "
Love Hina" (all 14 volumes), Shinjou Mayu's "
Houkago Wedding" (one-shot), Kaji Kengo and Kisaki Takashi's "
Koutsuu Jiko Kanteinin Tamaki Rinichirou" (all 18 volumes) and Ishioka Shouei's "
Belmond Le VisiteuR" (all 3 volumes).

Japflap was forced to close its doors today and remove all download links after they received a cease and desist letter from Viz Media Europe, as detailed by Japflap leader Eagle in
