New Manga Shout Out: 6/13/11 - 6/19/11

Welcome to the next New Manga Shout Out. With the no-raws/scans rule on MH, you have to work a bit to find these mangas. All through history, there have been a countless number of legendary weapons used by heroes, kings and warriors. These weapons are scattered throughout the world and it is the job of the pair, Tachibana Ibuki and Amano Himiko, to recover them from those who dare to abuse its power. Ibuki is an upbeat but clumsy school girl while Himiko is a relatively more experienced agent who gets turned on by weapons with murderous intent. The dysfunctional female weapon hunters have to use their own legendary weapons to retrieve it from dangerous criminals, but overcoming the differences between each other is going to be a much harder task.

Komei is a loser. He stays in his house in Tokyo all day watching anime and does not work or go to school, while his parents take care of everything for him. Late one night as he makes his way to the convenience store to pick up food, he crashes into a beautiful girl on a bicycle. She speaks a foreign language and is asking for directions. Komei frantically tries to communicate with her and she goes off riding into the night, but something clicks in Komei that makes him think that if he doesn’t follow her, he will regret it forever. He introduces himself to Myaofu and convinces her that he will guide her to the location, only to find out that she wants to go to Kyoto!

Hiroshi is an anime figurine designer, but he has been struggling lately and hasn’t been able to sell his ideas to any companies. He starts to work on a new project, but his upstairs neighbor is being annoyingly loud and Hiroshi goes to complain. What he finds is a beautiful mother named Maria and he is instantly sucked by her beauty. Hiroshi wishes that he could be near Maria more, even if he can't be in a relationship with her, so he can observe her beautiful body for his next figurine project. But when he fixes a local Saint Mary statue, his wish is granted except now he's Maria’s child!

Her first round is against a boy her age named Jack Lassel and she defeats him with ease. She fights her way to the finals where she becomes the champion and a knight only to find out that Jack, who is the son of the legendary dragon slayer, was also inducted.

Here's a note from vyc:
Ok series this week for me personally.
Hlocclinie - Hard to pronounce title but series is pretty upbeat. Two hot girls hunting legendary swords/weapons that are being used by evil doers. The comedy is good, some sexy scenes and you get to see all the famous weapons like excalibur and other famous samurai swords.
My opinion:
I'd want to check out Ichiro Heian! since it's from the mangaka of School Rumble, and Radiata Stories - The Song of Ridley since the idea of a female knight in a manga sounds interesting~
