Shichigakase Arisu comes from a long line of shadow priests that have made a deal with demons to get rid of other demons that have come to the human world to wreak havoc. Arisu’s demon is Rozudo, a powerful demon that has been freed of its prison in exchange for helping him. Unlike the typical shadow priests who use their power to kill demons, Arisu wants to use his power to help both humans and demons. Arisu learns how to combine his own blood with Rozudo’s soul to turn into a power warrior. In this state, they are able to turn his blood into weapons that help Arisu protect humans and free demons.

Officer Watanabe was called to the scene of a local restaurant where a girl named Sera Enoku was trying to dine and dash. With the city tied up in a mysterious runaway train, Watanabe decides to let Enoku off the hook. However, he soon learns about the existence of demons that feast on human beings and that Enoku is actually a demon in a human vessel. There is one thing different about Enoku though; she devours other demons.

Rushka goes to a school of genetic oddities, who all have horns on their head and a particular inconvenient "sickness". As she eagerly awaits her 16th birthday, Rushka befriends a reclusive classmate called Rebin, who has the uncontrollable ability to create other fantastical places. Carol's grandmother used to sing her a scary song about a man called Treize. He was a magician who appeared above the 13th street light at 28 o'clock (assumed to be 4 AM). If someone calls out at the streetlight, he'll smile and the magic show will begin. However, if you're a bad person, he'll turn you into a rose with a single sword slash. No one else seems to know the Treize song, and Carol is often teased by her disbelieving classmates, but she's determined to prove to them that the song is real, and that Treize does exist.

Accomodated by a doctor paedophile, they are placed under the monitoring of a despotic and brutal crew. Companions of cell of certain Sakuragi (called Anchan), the tension flares up between the band of buddies and their new "friend". A brawl breaks out and our six prisoners are done rossés by mysterious young man thanks to his boxing talent. The story will not only follow the lives of these seven characters surviving in their hellish environment, but also their disillusions due to the rejection by the outside world and by their close relations. This is about the extraodinary and invincible friendships between these young men.

This is what tethysdust said this week:
I liked the emo suicidal vampire story, the relationship between the monster and the little kid was pretty cute. Also, fuyuu shoujo was really interesting. It seemed kind of a shame that all the kids were being taught that their superpowers were sicknesses that needed to be removed.

Lots of potential in this week's one shots.
Kuru Hane - Interesting so far. Want to see more of what special skills people in the company have. Cuisine la Princess - Demon inside a teenage girl with a gun? Pretty cool. Blend Blood - Pretty cool idea. Very good potential for series I think.
My opinion:
Balance Days reminds me a bit of Frogman. Although the idea of a demon eating another demon isn't new, I'd still like to check out Cuisine la Princesse. On the other hand, Fuyuu Shoujo sounds really cute~ I'd definitely wanna read Himitsu no Ichiban. It sounds hilarious~ Monster and Child sounds like a touching manga. If you like a gritty manga, you might like Rainbow.
