iPhone/iPad Game Simulates the Road to Mangaka Fame 
The new game from Kairosoft is available for free on the Japanese app store for a limited period of time. A new iPhone/iPad game from Kairosoft gives players a little insight into the road to becoming popular mangaka. Entitled "Waku-waku! Manga Doujou" (Exciting! Manga Dojo), the aim of the game is to become a popular mangaka. Much like the manga series "BAKUMAN.", players will start out drawing manuscripts for one-shots until their work gets accepted and they get published in the magazine. Their target is to sell over 10 million copies of their manga, thus being worthy of the title of "popular mangaka". Just as it may happen in real life (also depicted in "BAKUMAN."), players may also meet with accidents or get themselves cancelled from the magazine. However, perserverence is the key to winning this game.
The app is now available for free on the Japanese app store (not available outside Japan), and is currently free as part of a promotion (usually ¥115).
