History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi 583

Finally the last chapter.
I have to be honest, I generally do a translation in one day, no matter how long the chapter is, but I had great troubles to finish this last chapter yesterday because while I was translating my heart was heavy with sadness for one of my favourite series to end.

Anyway, now that it is finished I would like to tell my opinion on the series.
The manga was good, especially the ragnarok arc, all the way to the despair island arc. Then around the 300~ or something chapters the rithm became really slow and it wasn't enjoyable like before. I think we can mark the begining of the slow descent of kenichi around the Diego Carlo's arc on the ship.
Then we got a lot of memorable moments like the Apachai vs Agaard fight,Sasaki and Hongo distorting space with awesomeness, and some parts of the Junazad arc, not to mention Ryuuto and Kenichi Vs Ogata.
The thing I do not really like is that the author played around for more than 100 chapters and then he gave us this sudden ending.
We will never know the story about Mikumo falling into the satsujinken, we will never see Ogata fight at the 100% of his strength and then be defeated, what about Sougetsu and his relationship with Kensei? We will never know about what Saiga did in his 16 years in yami. What about Kensei's wife and renka's brothers? and his little brother? Sensui the final villan? Really?
Why were we stuck with ukita harem while instead seeing kaname and takeda's relationship that would have been more interesting?
What about Sieg kicking some more asses? The majority of the shinpaku alliance only shinned during the DofD.

So to finish the ending was really abrupt, with a lot of plotlines and questions still open. And the things that troubles me the most is that the author wasted a lot of chapters on uninteresting things instead of developing our favourite characters (unless you like Ukita, but guys, seriously?).

But anyway it was good until it lasted.
