BOX：これまでのあらすじ　三十一名の息子達を殺し合わせ、勝者には藩主の座を与える――――。海原藩の藩主・鷲津直正の発案で始まった「海原大仕合」が、大亀流・黒鉄我間の戦いの始まりだった。藩主候補の一人、直善に仕えることとなった我間は、同門の伊織・真ノ丞・善丸らと共に、順調に大会を勝ち進む。ところが、二回戦を終えた段階で、海原大仕合は、我間の父陣介の一声によって突如終幕を迎える。大会は、我間の父にして元大亀流、現在は「無宝流」を束ねる黒鉄陣介が仕組んだ、「海原藩乗っ取り」の手段だったのだ。陣介は大仕合を終わらせると同時に直善の拉致を部下に命じる。抵抗する我間達だったが、無宝流の前にあえなく敗北。そして我間達は剣の上達のため、大亀流の隠れ里「戎簾の里」を目指した――――。

The story so far: He would make his 31 sons kill each other give the throne to the victor------. The Grand Tournament of Unabara, an idea put forth by Washizu Naomasa, the daimyo of the fiefdom of Unabara, was the beginning of Kurogane Gama of the Ogame school’s battle. Gama served under Naoyoshi, one of the daimyo candidates, and along with his fellow school members Iori, Shinnojou, and Zenmaru, advanced through the tournament with ease. However, in the final stages of the second round the tournament was brought to a sudden close by Gama’s father, Jinsuke. The tournament was merely a way of taking over Unabara, masterminded by Kurogane Jinsuke, who despite being Gama’s father and a former member of the Ogame school, is now assembling the Muhou school. In addition to ending the tournament, Jinsuke also ordered his subordinates to abduct Naoyoshi. Gama and co. resisted, but they were tragically defeated by the Muhou school. Now Gama and the others set their sights on the Ogame school’s hidden “Juuren Village” in order to improve their swordsmanship------.
