Go Go! Pudding Empire 36

p070
(new year)

(huh? isn't this outside?)
(who the hell)

An elderly person had to be taken to the hospital, due to a mochi getting stuck in his throat…

No messing around with mochi, alright...

(buffalo monster, KO'd by a bluff)

Master Jaba, I've finished the gift.

--ok.

Where are you taking these cakes?

(it's for my new year's greetings)

To the elder.

The elder Bargen, a master strategist with a formidable deed of arms during his years of active duty.

(active Bargen)

Though retired now, there is nothing unknown about the army corps to this influential man. Be that as it may, he has a very bad relation with his daughter in law.

p071
(HAHAHA)
(retired Bargen)

Oh, you shouldn't have, Jaba!

--Anyway, how are things with your daughter in law lately? Getting better?

--Funny you should ask, Jaba.

She's always so obstinant, but this morning it seemed like the winds have started to blow more gently.

You don't say.

(HAHAHA)

This morning we had our New Year's dish, and my bowl was packed with mochi!!
(PFFFT)

Hahaha… Hm? What's wrong, Jaba?

…Didn't you see the paper this morning?

There was an article about an elderly person who choked on some mochi.
(HAHA… HA- HA…..)

Oh yeah! I saw that. What about it?

p072
W… Well… You said your bowl was packed with mochi this morning, right?

So, what are you trying to say here?

Don't you think your daughter in law read that article, and purposely…

Kayoko read it, and purposely--

(staaaare)

WHAT THE HELL!

Didn't this guy used to be a legendary strategist?

T… That blasted woman. She's even after my life now, too.
(damn her to hell)

I thought it was kinda weird.

(daddy can I have a word please)

(shiver) x4

That woman was only being nice when she asked me for the money to go on a family trip to Izu…

* peninsula in the south of the Kanto region

(that woman… that woman called me daddy… she called me daddy… even though she usually calls me old man…)

(too much information)

p073
She's the second person that's after my life, after the inhabitants of the Begugu planet!!

(first, Begugu inhabitants)
(second, daughter in law Kayoko)

DAMN HER-- She has used up my last ounce of patience! I will show her the might of a former strategist.

(wander ponder)

THAT'S IT!

(exit)
(return)
(huff huff huff huff)

W-What were you doing!?

Hehehe… You'll come to realize my powers, Kayoko.

--I went to the toilet just now. Number two.

--Oh, no. I properly flushed it and all!! Or did I--

p074
I pinched out one heck of a stringy turd, and didn't wipe the toilet!!

(kekeke)
(I sold my soul to the devil!!)

Afterwards, I just pretended I didn't know, and never looked back.

… Master… Strategist…

(we will attack from two sides, the south and the east)

(Huh? Who just went to the toilet?)

(I wonder who it was)
(tap tap)

(It was the old man)

W-WHAT THE-?

M… My grandchild saw it--

(losing it)

(and the year's just begun)

…same daughter in law, same elder…

Jaba has confirmed that having this person come back to the Empire is simply unthinkable!
