Wow. That is ALL I've got to say to Sorachi about this weeks chapter. Just...Wow.

(TN- Ah I don’t get the joke, but from the kanji usage, Kagura seems to think he said ‘影’ or ‘Shadow’ and the doctor says that its not ‘忍’ or ‘concealment.’ Scantlators can reword it to make more sense, but that’s what I think’ll work.)

Kagura: What are you saying?! He’s sick? Sadaharu’s sick?!

Fix him! That’s your job right?! Hey!

Doctor: Please simmer down!

He’s not sick really….we just need to examine his insides.

Kagura: His insides?

Doctor: Yes. Do you all know if Sadaharu has eaten anything strange as of late?

Kagura: He’s been eating nothing but dog food.

Doctor: Well how about when he’s on his walks? Did he get into something and eat it?

When dogs are out on their own or even when you’re walking them, they tend to get into things and put them in their mouths.

And since Sadaharu is such a big dog, there’s a big possibility that he got into something huge.

Well its not a big danger, if he spits it out he should recover.

Gintoki: No no no no! That won’t be necessary Doc!!

Doctor: Huh? Why?

We don’t want our dog to have to do something as painful as throw something up! Lets go home!

Doctor: Well I can understand that, but you know if you just leave it as is, it’ll get to a point where you’ll have to open him up to cure him…

Gintoki: That’s fine! We’ll commit hara-kiri! Just please don’t put our dog through that!!

Shinpachi: Please! We’re begging you not to report us to the police and forget we were even here!

Katsura: I’ve always thought up until now that something had been strange about Elizabeth’s shape and disposition.

Doctor: There isn’t really any procedures that we can do that will alleviate any of his
suffering.

Man: I see so that’s how it is Kintarou…

Dad really wanted to see him one more time…

Doctor: I’m sorry it’s just that the old man’s condition…

Man: Yeah I know, the minute that his condition turned to the worse so did the dog’s.

Doctor: I see, Kintarou really must have loved this old man dearly for him to suffer like this.

Man: Yeah the dog and the old man were really close to each other. I guess in the end they’ll be close even to the afterlife.

I know it’s foolish but it I guess they really don’t want to outlive each other…

Doctor, I’m begging you to try to keep Kintarou’s condition under wraps.

At least as my old man fades away, I want him to without any regrets.

And at the same time the dog didn’t want to go because he didn’t want his master to be lonely….I’m sure they’ve been together since childhood or even further back.

It won’t change their conditions, and to have to watch each other die is even more of a tragedy!

Dog: And like being killed in mom’s belly I made the mistake of coming here as a dog hybrid.

That old man could die, I’m pretty sure that he was trying to give me away sometimes too! I could feel it.
