{Last time: Jiro went toe to toe with Kurusu and Oogami who were attacking the school. Unfortunately this means that he was unable to also appear at the presidential election, and lost his seat. In the meantime, Kimura managed to be elected to the position instead.}

Eiko: Yep!

We've got a month to prepare for battle with them!

Kurosawa: WHA?!

Eiko: We're gonna have to fight them eventually, right?

So, lets be on the offensive and take this bull by the horns!

Aki: You know how he's been president like forever right?

I've heard some stuff, and it sounds like he's gonna graduate this year.

Aki: So I was thinking, why not make him some chocolate to show how much I appreciate his work...?

Kyouko: She's trying to hide it, but it's so obvious!

Yuki: You're simply precious, Aki-chan!

Kyouko: If that's the case, I'd be more than happy to teach you!

Yuki: Yep, we totally get it!

So, with Aki-chan going out with Akagi-san, and Kyouko-chan with Jiro-kun, that leaves me in charge!

Both: HEY NOW!

Aki: We're making these TOGETHER!! Why don't you get it?!

Kyouko: Yeah! Besides that, Jiro is a non issue here!

Yuki: Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Didn't Jiro-kun, like protect the school?

Akagi-san and Jiro-kun deserve something made with your fighting spirit!

You fought so hard back then, so I wanted to give this as thanks.

Yuki: That's for everyone!!

Shizuka: Jiro-san, here's some chocolate....

Jiro: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE SHIZUKA!!

{And so, President Kimura's explosive wrath led him to consume all of this year's Valentime chocolates.}

{As such, the president gained 10 kg...much to his pleasure.}

And so, here we are. 100 chapters which equals two years. Two years of Aku. Honestly, I only really offered to translate the series because I thought SS needed more love....fine, fine so much for sounding noble. The real reason is that I thought that no one would scan raws, and therefore be unable to call my bluff. Lo and behold that some Japanese pirate thought it hilarious to spite me, and scan this thing every week. So I had to put up or shut up, and momma BDR didn't raise no punks. I really do loathe romance in stories in general, but there's a special place in my heart filled with genuine hatred for the harem genre. So for a while this series was a chore to translate, although it's a little better now that Fujiki's started establishing more than one couple, so it feels like normal dating moreso than a harem, but there are still those days where I'm like 'hnnnnnnnnnghhhhh'. Still, I've kept this SOB up for two years. That's enough for an anime right there, (the likes of which I'm sure Sunday is negotiating now.....or at least they SHOULD be. *shakes fist.*) The most of the first year, I was able to get this bad boy out each week, but with grad school and other series eating away at my life, that wasn't meant to be for long. ^^;; That non withstanding, I'd like to thank everyone with putting up with my erratic schedule for the last few months. Sometimes after working two jobs and doing homework, you just don't want to fucking translate anything. You guys could bitch, and I could ignore, but you're fans with class. (Although a bit on the lazy side. There's NO reason why there shouldn't be an English language Aku wiki page. Absolutely none. I'm giving you the material, so where is it? Even Hyde got one, dammit!) But yeah, First and for most, lets all give a hand to Fujiki. With this, he's managed to one up his previous series, which ended at 9 volumes, as Aku has enough material for ten, and doesn't seem to be done quite yet. He's got a really nice and unassuming art style, and when he isn't doing the harem thing I hate, he's doing the slice of life thing I love. I'd also like to thank Hyena scans for staying with the series for two years, and Simple scans for the few chapters they did before they had to drop the project. I don't thank bastards that ignore my simple requests not to use the script without permission, or international translators who do not credit me. Most of all, though I thank fans who talk about the series and love the characters. (Yuki is mine though.) I don't join forums out of habit, but I do google the series every so often to see what's being said, and I'm glad I could bring you joy for the last two years. I know I've been saying that I think Aku's on it's way out soon, and with the way things have been ending in Sunday lately, I'm still pretty convinced of this. That non withstanding, I will continue with Aku as long as humanly possible, should it end in two months or two more years. I'm truly blessed to have all of you here cheering me on, and completely ecstatic that I've managed to translate 100 chapters (from one to one hundred, so Gintama doesn't count.) of a series.
