(TN- I tried to look up what an itaben refers to, and mostly found bentou that are made to look like anime characters. Not sure of the reference here honestly.)

And so it's over. I managed to actually finish this before the end of the year! Of course I did it by the seat of my ass, like I live my life so I suppose it's a Pyrrhic victory at best.

Kiriwo really had potential to be something interesting, but weirdly after it's third chapter it pretty much sunk to the bottom of the TOC and stayed there. I'm not sure if this was due to reaction to the series or editor preference since the TOC is a nebulous thing --especially in Sunday, but it is telling that Kiriwo only made it to four volumes rather than the normal five cancelled WSS series tend to get.

I dunno if anyone will ever finish scantlating this, and honestly that's not a concern to me. It would be nice, but I can't make anyone do anything. I just got tired of starting series and not finishing them. I picked up Kiriwo on a whim, but I have a responsibility to finish it even if no one ever scantlates it.

Anyway I do hope to see Morita Hiro back soon. Of course with my luck, and WSS trends for failed mangaka, he'll be back with my much loathed Romcom genre and then I'll have to ignore his next work. I hope I'm wrong, but my bad touch gets more powerful with each series I translate, and my intuition for bad things only gets better.

Happy 2015 everyone, and I look forward to TLing more manga that no one will read in this year to come.
