SAIKE ONCE AGAIN THIRD SERIES END.

There's the end of series three. Usually the ends of these things announce the time where the next will begin, but this time there wasn't one. Fukuchi's been working on color pages and manuscripts for the next part --at least that's what his twitter indicates. So I guess it's safe to assume that the next part will be underway soon-ish? I get the idea that with all the new series starting in Sunday that the editors wanted to wait to free up more room after cancellations before continuing Saike again. Or I dunno. It seems that Saike is doing well, but momentum is important. The lack of which is what killed Ueki + and Anagle in their prime.

This had to be my favorite moment of shounen ever. Rarely is such a question posed seriously, and I can't wait to see how Saike confronts it. Kuroda made some really good points in his speech to Saike about what a hero is and what implications a hero faces --especially with such a game breaking power like Saike's. More interesting than this is that Kuroda is based off a character from another of Fukuchi's oneshots named "Negatibrain". In fact judging from the one off panel with the girl on one page I'd even venture to say that Saike might just be the continuation of that oneshot published five years ago. Thanks to jagman I now have that oneshot and I hope to TL it soon. For now enjoy chapter 22 and the scanslations of the first five chapters Here. As soon as the next series is announced, I'll be right on it. Until then.
