{I'm redoing today.}

SAIKE ONCE AGAIN
Take 37: Remaining lives.
Eiji: Saike...
Calm down and listen to me.

003
Eiji: Don't use your ability anymore.
If you use it again you'll die...
So..
Saike: Yeah...
I already know, Hizu-kun.
I won't use my ability again.
Ana: Um...
Huh?
You swear not to use it again?
Saike: I more or less understand it..
Every time I use my ability it places a burden upon my body, yeah?

004
Eiji: I see...
Well, if you get it then...
{This is for the best.}
{If I were to say “Lets go fight the ability user who puts others to sleep together” here, they'd put a stop to that for sure.}
Saike: Yeah..
I'm a bit tired,
So it's for the best.

005
Mako: It's him! That's the ability user who's been putting others to sleep that Yumeo is looking for!
I have to make a Ham-chan to locate and report this to Yumewo right away...
(Sfx- Baahh fwap)
Mako: Mmm?!
Saike: Quiet.
They'll notice us.
Mako: Y—You're Yumewo's enemy..!!
Saike: Not right now, I'm not.

006
Saike: Listen to me.
I've repeated today in order to save Kuroda.
Mako: Eh...?
You can't tell Kuroda about the ability user who's putting others to sleep
Otherwise it's his fate to repeat the same loss as before.
Mako: Y—You're lying!!
Yumewo would never lose in a one-on-one fight!!
(Handwritten- That's him, huh?)
Saike: This is the information you gave me...
You're Jyuujyou Mako, nine years old.
Your ability is to hamsterfy substances.
Your favorite apple is Jona Gold.
When you were five years old, you lost both of your parents, and were transferred into foster care.
When you turned eight, you met Kuroda who acknowledged your abilities and from there you became one of his partners and your association with him began.
Right?

007
Saike: Besides that guy there are two other enemies.
But I've only got dicey information on them at best right now.
I can't defeat them on my own.
So I really could use some back up.
Can I trust you with that?

008
Saike: Sakagami Yuuki...
(Sfx- Dooooon thooom)

009
Sakagami: And who might you be?
Why do you know my name?
Saike: I know all sorts of things, actually.
For example, I know all about your ability as the “sleeper demon”.
Sakagami: Hmm?
I see.
So, what do you want?
Are you looking to be my friend?
Saike: Who'd want to befriend scum like you?

010
Saike: Release the people you've put to sleep.
Now..!!
Sakagami: No thanks.
(Sfx- Pachiinn snap)
Sakagami: Now die!!

011
Sakagami: What?!
Saike: I did say I know all sorts of things, didn't I?
Like how you guys have a thing for surprise attacks.

012
Saike: I have my own means.
Hamster: Chew chew chew..
Mako: First shot a direct hit.
Ammunition for second shot locked and loaded.
(Sfx- Mogu mogu chew chew)
Mako: Ready.
Fire!!

013
Chiu: Wh..
Where are they attacking from?
Guaaah!!
(Sfx- Kuruh spin)
Sakagami: What?!
(Handwritten- He's running away?)
Saike: Now I know where the long sleeves guy is hiding...
Next up, finding out where the bald guy is!

014
(Sfx- Gashaan clatter)
{I'll let them show off their skills one by one and then use Mako's ability to escape.}
{After that, all I need to do is repeat things.}
{The order in which they show themselves doesn't matter.}
(Sfx- Shari shari jingle jingle)
{If I do this enough times, I'll discover the enemy's weaknesses...}
{And countermeasures against them.}

015
{The problem here is my “Extra lives”....}
{Just how many times can I return...?}
(Sfx- Kuru spn)
(Sfx- ton tap)
(Sfx- Kachahh click)
{I'm redoing today.}

016
(Sfx- Kuru spn)
{I can still do it.}
{I'm still okay...}
(Sfx- Kuru spn)

017
(Sfx- Kuruhh spnnn)
{I can still...}
(Sfx- Kuruhh spnn)
{Still....}
Saike: Hah...
Hah...
Hah..
(Sfx- Kuru spn)
{Still....}

018
(Sfx- Garaah clatter)
Ana: Ah!
Saike, you've awakened!!
Saike: Hey Ana.
Ana: Hey Hizu! Saike is awake!
Huh? What's the matter Hizu?
Eiji: Why...
Saike...
Your...

019
Eiji: “Power fumes” are fading.
Don't tell me...
You've been repeating today this whole time...
Saike: I'm sorry Hizu-kun...
Ana.
I just can't abandon this power after all.
It's just my nature.

020
Saike: I'd like you to lend me your strength.
I don't know how many times I can return after this...
But there's a guy I can't forgive no matter what.
I'm begging you..!!
Your strength is essential from here on in!!
(Side text- Next issue, filled with loyalty for Saike, they tackle a strategy to defeat Sakagami!!)
