Saike Once Again 67

It took almost three months, but I've once again caught up to Saike. Will I fall behind "once again"? I hope not. At the very least a hiatus should be coming soon, so it's about whether I can keep sprinting in tune with Fukuchi until then.

Also I have a plurk now, so feel free to friend me there and stuff.

(Middling text- On this Earth, precious things that are lost cannot be regained.)
(Side text- Take back the Healing God! The “searching” 7th series continues With Saike who has lost everything…)
(Outer panel text- The newest volume of the manga #7 releases on January 18th!!)
Take 67: One more time.
FUKUCHI TSUBASA
SAIKE ONCE AGAIN

(Side text- As Johann has taken the Healing God, Saike is…)

003
(Sfx- Dokuuunnn *thooom*)
Saike: Nnngh…
{I have a mission too you know?}
{But it’s wrong to sacrifice someone else’s life for my purposes.}
{That’s not heroic at all.}
{I want to use what’s left of my oracle to help someone like the healing God.}
{And live as a hero until the very end.}

004
Roma: Why would you…
Risk your life the way you do?
My Grandfather –the Healing God is the same.
For the sake of the Village, he’s willing to continue using that oracle that shaves away his life.
I think it’s incredible…
That he treasures the village…
But..
(Sfx- Gyuuuhh *grnnnd*)
(Sfx- Borohh *drip*)

005
Roma: I want my grandfather to live a long life….
Why does he have to sacrifice himself for the sake of the village?
(Sfx- Hah)
(Sfx- Hah)
(Sfx- gyuuuuhhh *Grind*)
Saike: Have you thought about…
What it means to be alive?
An acquaintance of mine once said..
That these oracles were born from “wishes”…

006
Saike: That includes my oracle,
And the Healing God’s oracle…
Somewhere deep in our hearts the “wishes” we had took on material form.
Up until now I’ve been wasting my days…
Meaninglessly going from one day to the next….
However this oracle gave me a “reason to be alive.”…
I’m sure the Healing God too is the same way….

007
Raj: Saike!!!
(Sfx- Zatshhh *sssht*)
Saike: Raj…
Raj: The Elder was…
Taken….
(Sfx- Hah haaah)

008
Raj: And Hizu and Ana…
Have died..!!

009
(Sfx- Gyuuuhhh *grnnnd*)
Saike: Ngh..
Roma: You musn’t! The doctor ordered that you get bed rest…
Saike: But I have to go.
Roma: Eh..?
Go where?
Those two are already…
Saike: I don’t have any time Roma,
So please tell me…

010
Saike: Is there a…
“Pond” nearby?
A little pond won’t do…
It has to be deep and preferably wide.
My oracle is to redo a day.
However, I can’t drown myself in “Mogura pond” here.

011
Saike: That’s because, naturally Mogura Pond isn’t here in Nepal,
And I don’t have time to head back to Japan.
Worst case scenario,
{The living Goddess in Kathmandu said…}
{Saike only has one more day before he dies.}
Saike: I can only do this once.
I know that there are many uncertainties surrounding what I am about to do…
After all there’s no guarantee that my ability will activate if I drown anywhere else besides Mogura Pond.
(Sfx- DOkunn dokuun *throb throb*)
Saike: But…
This is something I have to do!

012
Saike: But I have to go back…
To today…!!!

013
Raj: Sa…
Saike…
???: Gokyo lake.
It’s a huge lake.
Grandfather took me there some time ago.

014
Roma: Pande..
Pande: Grandfather said,
That Gokyo is a holy lake.
It is a place where the guardian spirit of Nepal lives.
Please…
Save Grandfather!!
Saike: Of course.

015
Saike: Thank you Raj.
I understand the situation.
If I do come back…
I’ll get the Healing God back for sure.
And of course, I won’t allow Hizu or Ana to die.
Raj: Are you…
Really gonna do this Saike?
Roma: Saike-san…

016
Saike: Leave it to me.
I am a “hero” after all!
{Just once more..}
Saike: Just once is fine…
{Grant me…}
{A miracle…!!}
(Sfx- Dopuunnn *bloosh*)

017
{God….}

018

019
(Sfx- Gachaah *clack*)
Eiji: You’re awake?
We’re gonna reach the Healing God’s village today.
You doing okay?

020
Saike: I’m feeling awesome.
(Side text- To the second “today” that he thought he couldn’t return to! Saike once again goes to reclaim the Healing God!!)
TO BE CONTINUED IN ISSUE 5/6 OF THE NEW YEAR.
