Dear god this chapter was full of several types of awesome. Not to mention Sorachi's probably the first mangaka (that i've seen) that ends the chapter three times in one 19 page session! Plus Tsuu and Tosshi return?! Sign me up for the epic train please!

{However we were the ones who sifted through the rubble, and clamed for ourselves the title of ‘Official Fan club.}

{The battlefield was littered with the corpses of the fallen…}

{And we had battled many waves of anguish before we had risen, and become the strongest warriors known to man.}

{Lead by the silent tactician Shimura Shinpachi….we were known as the ultimate otaku.}

{On the road leading to Otsuu becoming a household name, we sat eagerly awaiting her steps forward.}

{The ninty-ninth rite of the regiment was that we’d stay by her with bonds made of iron.}

{Fearsome soldiers, with high amounts of pride, not knowing defeat.}

{Performing needless of quality, and through tension…we continued to support our goddess.}

{Our history was deep and dark…cumulated by the fact that we could call our selves ‘official.’ Because of this however, we could keep fighting.}

{Our leader Shimura, is a man to be honored, never straying away from his chosen path…stepping over the corpses of the fallen.}

{Through the changing situations…}

{Some of those weaker soldiers would abandon their weapons and flee…}

{But that man…}

{Would never avert his glance from the battle field.}

{A comet that landed on the battle field…gathering up the fallen in his wake..and forging them into the ‘Tsuusengumi.’ Turning them into an organization to be feared.}

{He was a man rich in battle experience.}

{He knew all too well how to launch a counter attack.}

{He knew just what it took to tempt the otherwise stable Otaku heart, and twist it into strength for his cause.}

{Anime, Manga, Games…these three forms of media…he had mastered all of them…but now he had his eyes on Otsuu.}

{Creating the Tsuusengumi, he had his group singularly focus on the Idol, and come away from their media cycles.}

{Convincing them that such items were of the past, and had no need in the lives of the modern otaku, he soon convinced all of them to follow him.}

{Promising them the whole wide world, his charismatic movements and empathy granted him their favor quickly.}

{And so, his ultimate fascination…}

{Was to destroy our iron bonds, and continue in the path of idol worship, over the defunct Terakado Tsuu Imperial protection squadron.}

Shinpachi: Though, now that I think about it….I had no idea that guy was back….

I thought for sure he had crushed his otaku side once and for all.

Could it be that the curse of the sword still lives within Hijikata-san?

On top of that, his otaku power has increased!

I don’t know if you guys can tell, but even I’m feeling a bit threatened, and that’s saying a lot. I’m an otaku, but in no way am I a charismatic one…

Takachin: Shin-chan!!

Even if the rest of those jerks are gone, I’m still here!!

Because we have our ‘official’ status. However, if we lose that we’re nothing more than a bunch of greasy and creepy fanboys.

Shinpachi: I have a feeling that it’s probably the only reason why some of the guys even stuck around! The title of ‘official’ goes a long way you know…

But on the opposite end of official is embarrassment!! We’re just losers without that title!

No matter the cost we have to get that title back!! If we don’t no one will take our fan worship seriously anymore!! Isn’t there something we can do!

Kagura: If this is a problem, why not join them?
