Flashback!Grandmother: Don't forget, Sakura, you mustn't go wandering off in the mountains alone!
Flashback!Sakura: Okay, Granny!
Sakura: (That's right... // That day, I was visiting my grandmother's house... // ...when I found it standing at the entrance to the mountain path.)

Sakura: (Beckoned by a rabbit wearing a T-shirt I didn't really understand...)
[Tshirt: YOROSHIKU]
[TN: The T-shirt reads "yoroshiku", a polite phrase meaning something like "pleased to meet you" or "pleased to be working with you", only with an unusual spelling phonetically using the characters for "night", "exposed", "death" and "pain". Apparently it's a pun that was once popular among delinquents. I'm no expert on the education of Japanese children, but I doubt a little kid could get the pun, or even recognise all the characters. ~~]
Sakura: (...I wandered into the mountains. / And then...)

Flashback!Granny: You must leave. // This is no place for a child like you...
Sakura: (That's right... // That lady showed me the way back home. // But that's strange... // For some reason, I can't remember her face... / Well, it was a long time ago. Oh, well.)

Sakura: Hello?
OldWoman: You are rather young, aren't you? // Do you really have no regrets to hold you back?
OldMan1: Mm, that's right. / We're all done and satisfied with our lives...

Sakura: (Huh... Now that I think about it... // All the others here are old people... // And they all look so satisfied.)

Flashback!Granny: It looks like she's wandered into the All-Done Entrance. // The place people pass through when they have lived their lives to the full, and died with no regrets. // This Sakura girl is getting caught up in their mood of satisfaction; she'll be heading straight for the Wheel of Samsara.
GuidePerson: That's right! / No rushing now, just nicely up the steps! // Have a nice next life!

Granny: Beckoned by a rabbit?
Sakura: That's right. // A rabbit wearing some kind of strange T-shirt...
Granny: That was a Damashigami.
Sakura: A Damashigami...?
Granny: You write it like this.
[TN: The kanji are "Fall", "Demon", "Death" and "God". But all together, "Damashigami" sounds like "Trickster God".]
Sakura: Wow... that's complicated.

Rinne: Damashigami are spirits that lure even people who are still alive into the world of the dead, just for the sake of increasing their quota... // A nasty kind of Shinigami.
Sakura: That was a Shinigami...?
Granny: But you managed to return, yes?
Sakura: That's right... somebody helped me find my way home. // I can't really remember her very well... // But I remember she had bright white hair, and a black kimono... // Oh, and I think there was a blue flower ornament in her hair. // Oh, that's right... // She was wearing a haori just like Rokudou-kun's as well!
Rinne: Huh...
Granny: (I see... / The girl from back then...)

Sakura: She was a really... / ...friendly oba-san...
Granny: Are you sure you don't mean O - ne - e - sa - n?!
Sakura: Owowowowowowowowowowow... // Wait... // The oba-san from back then!
Granny: O - ne - e - sa - n!
Sakura: Tell me, please! / Ever since then... // ...I've been able to see ghosts.

Sakura: I'm used to it now... / But it bothers me, not knowing why it happened... // Is it because I wandered into this world that time...?
Granny: No, that can't be it. // As long as you didn't eat or drink anything from this world, / you shouldn't develop the ability to see ghosts.
