Rule Explanation
Card Deck
There are five main types of card: Sun, Moon, Star, Wind and Flower. Each of these is represented in four different colours (red, blue, yellow and green), to make a total of twenty.
[Labels: x4 Colours // Red // Blue // Yellow // Green]
There is also one special Pixie card, to make a grand total of twenty-one.
Setup
Each player initially draws five cards into his hand; the remainder are placed into the centre to serve as the deck.
[Labels: 5 cards // 11 cards]
Gameplay
The player to start takes one card from his hand, and declaring its colour and symbol, plays it face-down upon the table.
Player: Blue Star.
It is permissible at this stage to declare an entirely separate card to the card actually played. / It is up to the player whether to be truthful or to lie. / Cards played in this manner form a discard pile next to the deck in the middle of the table.
Player: Blue Star.
[Label: Actually a Blue Wind.]
The following player then decides between two possible moves.
1. The player may play a card bearing either the same symbol or the same colour as the last card to be played.
Player: Red Sun.
[Label: This card was declared as a Red Flower.]
For instance, upon a Red Flower, one may play either a Red card, or a Flower card. // If, at this stage, the player possesses other cards bearing the same symbol, they may be played simultaneously.
Player: Red Sun, Blue Sun, Yellow Sun.
For instance, when playing a Red Sun, the player may play a Blue Sun and a Yellow Sun at the same time.
5
2. The player may identify the previously-played card as a lie.
If the player suspects that the opponent has declared a different card to that actually played, he may declare "Check", and turn over the card in question.
Player1: Green Wind.
Player2: Check.
If the Check proves successful (a lie is exposed), the lying player must draw three cards from the deck into his hand as a penalty.
Player1: You got me...
However, if the Check is unsuccessful, the player who declared the Check must draw three cards from the deck.
Player2: Sorry I doubted you...
Play then continues from the player who paid the penalty.
Winning The Game
Play continues as described above until one player discards all cards from his hand; this player wins the game.
Player1: All out!
Special Card
The single Pixie card is almighty, and can represent any of the other cards in the deck. // However, the Pixie may not be played as a player's final card. // If a player is sure that the opponent has just played the Pixie, he may declare as such. In this case, he should declare "Found the Pixie!", and turn over the card in question.
Player2: Yellow Flower.
Player1: Found the Pixie!
If the Pixie is successfully uncovered, the one who played the Pixie must draw three cards from the deck, and play continues from the player who found the Pixie.
[Label: Resume from successful player]
Likewise, if the player makes this declaration but fails to find the Pixie, he must draw three cards from the deck, and play continues from the player who played the "Pixie". // This game can alternatively be played using cards 1-5 from an ordinary deck, plus the Joker.

RefereePerson: That brings our explanation to a close. We rushed through the rules a little, but I hope you all understand the procedure. // If you have any questions, please ask them now.
Soujirou: Not really.
Bossun: Nope.
RefereePerson: Hm? ...I... I see......
Shinzou: ...The two of them are amazing...
Himeko: Am I the only one who didn't get all thay? Everybody got it?
RefereePerson: In - In that case, please enter the Black Box! // The fifth and final round, Card Game Pixie Garden shall now begin!!
Soujirou: Well? Are you really sure you grasped the rules?
Bossun: Yeah.
7
Soujirou: Hahahah... / Excellent. // Shall we begin?
Mimori: Go for it, President~!
Michiru: Well, this decides it.
Tsubaki: Yes... / There's no way the President could lose in a battle of wits.
Soujirou: Man... this room's so quiet, it's rather offputting.
Shinzou: Give it your all!! Your all, Bossun-dono!! / Go!
Switch: Give it your all!! Your all, Bossun-dono!!
Himeko: Bossun!! You can't screw up here!!
Roman: My Prince... Marry me!!
Soujirou: There's something I'd like to ask... // Why exactly... // ...are you taking this tournament so seriously?
8
Bossun: ............
Soujirou: I hope you're not planning on telling me it's all for the sake of your client.
Bossun: Don't ask if you already know the answer.
Soujirou: Hahahah... / So it really is just your rivalry with us... / Man, that's quite harsh... // Well, not exactly with "us"... // More "Tsubaki". // But why? / It's true that he's not exactly the most tactful guy... / But surely he's nothing to get quite this worked-up over?
Bossun: Sh... Shaddup already! He just pisses me off, that's all!! // Why don't you go ask him, anyway?! / He's the one who's always picking fights with us, that's why...!!
Soujirou: Hahah... / I get the feeling if I asked him, he'd just say the same thing. // "Though it isn't really much of a reason..." // "He just strikes me as something of a rival..." // "...I just can't stand him." // Though in some ways the two of you appear diametrically opposed... / You're really quite similar.
9
Soujirou: But you see... / That's what I just can't stand.
Bossun: Eh? // [aside]I've lost you...[/aside]
Soujirou: Why don't we have us a little bet, Fujisaki? // If you lose this match... you quit the Sket-dan. / ...How about it?
Bossun: !!! // Wh... // Whaaaaaaaa?!!
Shinzou: What on Earth are they talking about?
Switch: Don't you think they're just trading insults before the fight?
Himeko: Oh crap, oh crap!! Bossun could never win in a verbal battle!!
10
Bossun: That's crazy talk!!! / Is there something wrong with you, huh?!! There's no way I'd do that!!
Soujirou: And if I lose, I'll resign as Student Council President. What do you say?
Bossun: Not a chance!!!
Soujirou: I should probably mention... this isn't an offer you can refuse. // I'm the Student Council President. Shutting down your little club would be a simple matter, you know?
Bossun: (This guy...!!) // But why...? // Why would you want to do a thing like that?
Soujirou: It's all about motivation. // If we don't take this game seriously, it'll be boring, don't you think? I just want to make sure my opponent gives it his all. / I don't want to hear you spouting excuses after you lose about how you couldn't get into it because you weren't up against Tsubaki.
Bossun: I'm dead serious with or without your stupid bet!
Soujirou: Well, why not, then? // Don't forget, if you don't, your little Sket-dan... // ...is dust.
11
Bossun: Shit... / I can't believe it. All this time I thought you were a laid-back sort of guy... / ...but you're some President, huh? // (Trying to mentally corner me and put me off-balance, huh...?)
Soujirou: Hahahah... // You'd do well to remember... // I'm really not a very nice kind of guy.
Bossun: (No... // He really is trying to make sure I'm serious...) // All right. // Let's do it. // (...just so he can enjoy the game.)
Soujirou: Good answer.
Bossun: (I won't lose.)
Soujirou: Well, shall we begin? // With our positions on the line... / Hahahah.
Bossun: (There's no way I'll lose!)

Soujirou: Leeeet's see... well, I guess I can't get too worked up overthe first card. // Let's just pick one. // Here. // Blue Star.
Bossun: (So the first card is a Blue Star... the second card is where it gets serious. I've got to play either a Blue or a Star... // Gahhh... I don't have any!! I don't have a single card to play!! // Guess I don't have a choice...) // Blue Wind.
[box: Bossun plays a Yellow Wind.]
Soujirou: Check.

Bossun: (N... Next!! I can match Red, and play three at once!) // Red Flower, Green Flower, Blue Flower. // ("Check" that!!!)
Soujirou: ...Telling the truth now, huh? / Fair enough.
