Makai Gosht (Serving for 4)
Salad oil...2tbsp
(a)
Cloves...2
Cardamom...2
Cinnamon...1cm
Mace...1

Boneless lamb...1kg
Onion...2
Ginger...1
Garlic...1

Turmeric powder...1tsp
Chili powder...1/2tsp
Coriander powder...3tbsp

Yogurt...1cup
Salt...1tsp
Cashews...3tbsp

Fresh cream...1/3cup

(1)Heat up 1tbsp of salad oil in the pot, stir-fry finely chopped onions, ginger and garlic.
(2)When it becomes light brown, continue to add water until everything becomes paste.
(3)Heat up the remaining oil in another pot and tir-fry (a). Add in the lamb chopped into chunks.
(4)Add in the paste from (2), along with (b).
(5)Stir until the oil separates, add in (c). Add enough water to cover the meat, stew until everything is thick and the meat becomes soft.
(6)Add fresh cream to finish. You may add more minced coriander leaf and ginger if you wish.
