27: I translated it as “scary girl,” since in this case Kurose just thinks Chigusa is creepy. Heisei Era can be considered a “scary” period of time (1989-present) since many horrific events happened. These events include natural disasters, economic disasters, terrorist attacks, and even films such as Godzilla.

The bands on the student’s arms are their club/committee. Example: Mashiro’s armband says “Class President”
