先日、　実家の物置を整理していたち
懐かしいオモチャといっしょに、怪獣と
表紙のスケッチブックが出てきた。　そこ
には、　ボクが小学校１年生の頃にかいた
落書きがギッシリだった。　ミミズがはっ
たようなヘタクソな絵の中に、　一際目立
つ形のとれた車の絵があった。　それは紛
れもなく、　あの頃ボクが尊敬し、　ボクに
絵をかくおもしろそを教えてくれた叔父
さんの絵だった。　天国の叔父さん見てる
かな。。。ボクマンガ家になりましたよ。

the other day, i was cleaning out the storage room at my parents house and found some nostalgic toys and, a sketchbook with a monster on the cover. inside, it was packed with scribblings from when i was in my first year of elementary school. one that really caught my eye was a drawing of a car, where a shitty worm had crawled inside. that was undoubtly, a drawing made by the uncle that taught me how interesting drawing was at the time, and i really respected. i wonder if my uncle is watching me from heaven...i have become a mangaka.
