notes for the reading of ahiru no sora.

７巻で何を今更とゆー感じなんですが、
バスケットボールのルールについて少し。。。
so a little about basketball rules, youre wondering why just now in the 7th volume...
この漫画は２００３年から連載していてその年から
２００４年、　２００５年と、　立て続けに公式ルールの改正が
あるました。
well this manga started serialization in 2003 after wich in 2004/2005 the official rules were amended.
読者の中でもジャンプボールが
なくなったのを知らなかった人は多いようです。
many people among the readers didnt even know that the jump ball was cancelled.
たぶんこの先もなにかしらの動きがあると思われますが、
あひるではそーゆう情報が入ってきた時点で
そのルールを取り上げて描いています。
some of the other moves before this point might have seemed the same, and for that reason some of those rules were described when they came up.
しかしそうすると作品の中で同じ時間軸なのに
最初の頃と後の方とでルールが違ってしまうという
おかしな状態になったりしてしまいます。
but its unusual for a manga in the same time period to to have different rules at the during its course.
”ＯＯ年までのルールで”と縛りを入れてしまえば
楽なのですが、　そうすると今リアルにバスケットを
やっている人達とズレが生じてしまうので
あえてそうしています。
we will keep using "the rules till year XX" as before for simplicitys sake, and it will also be challenge for the basketball players among you to see if youre paying attention.
