the reason is cuz it was easy to get data.

かいてるんだけど（笑）
i went to the maruko bridge this time.
so there i was on the verge of crying
cuz i couldnt finish the storyboard due to having writers block(lol)

夜中の３時にもなると　警察官が
自殺と勘違いして見張りに来るんだ
and this cop thought i was gonna commit suicide so he kept an eye on me.

むづかしいです。
basketball mangas are really hard.

漫画家を目指している人は
一度挑戦してみると
いいかもしれません。
いろんなイミで勉強に
なると思います。
its probably one of the hardest challenges for people that want to become mangakas.
in more ways than one, you have to study many things.

スピード闘　使っても
フォームをしっかり
描かないと速く
見えないんだよ
if i use a speed battle
i have to draw the form to make them look fast
(most of this is unreadable)


最初の頃は不安で不安で
仕方なかったよ。
at the beginning insecurity piled upon insecurity.

it was really hard.

or developing a game
or the between game drama portions.
like that stuff with tobi.

なかなか週刊連載だと
思うようにいかないんだよね
これが。
when you think about all that stuff and how theres a weekly serialization
it all seems impossible.


そういう理由もあって
単行本では必ず書き直したり
書き足したりしています。
thats one of the reasons i always think to myself im gonna fix the drawings in the tankobon.

それでも１００％満足することは
ほとんどないんだよ。
後悔と反省ばっかり。
but even so im never 100% satisfied.
its all regrets and laments here.


だから単行本の仕事が
入ってきたときは
本当にジゴク。
thats why working on a tankobon is truly hell on earth.

でもやっぱりマガジンに
載ったときよりは
おもしろく
したいんだ。
but still, its more fun than the magazine releases.

cover slip:
片岡鶴太郎さんの水墨画に憧れて。
今日こんな表紙を描いてみました。
やり方がまったくわからなかったへで、水で濡らした画用紙に
筆ペンでほぼ一発描きしたものです。
８巻からね、だんだんチャレンジャーになってきてます。
今はその姿勢を大事にしたい。

so i drew this cover today.
i dont really know how its actually done, so i just used a writing brush on a wet piece of drawing paper and finished it in almost one sitting.
after volume 8, i started looking for more challenges.
