Jio to Ougon to Kinjirareta Mahou 26

Reserved for Simple Scans etc.

Prepare yourself for a rushed ending... don't say I didn't warn you. Wonder if the tanko has some extra pages to ease the transition...

Also, smooth sailing from here until ch32, so I'll go focus on my other series now.

Have a great Christmas, all.

Chapter 26: The Inverted City

[2]

Jio, who has passed the test and won over the Curses of Fire and Ice!

1 Er...
2 ... I'm back...

3 Jio!

SFX grip

[3]

1 Welcome back!

2 Rin...
3 It's my first time seeing her make that expression...

4 ...Yeah,
5 I'm back.

6 Sure took your time, huh.
7 Saza.

[4]

1 Though, letting time pass might've been the only way you'd pull through without dying.
Lit:
coming back alive might only be made possible with the passage/spending of time.

2 Time...

3 Have I been away for that long?
4 Yeah.

5 Around a month.
6 Er...

7 A month... Then...
8 Ruwell...

[5]

1 Redainlos...
2 Gin...?

3 Redainlos is okay...

4 But he's just one step away from achieving his goal.

5 What's Gin's goal...?

6 It's something you're familiar with.

[6]

1 The Inverted City.
2 That is Gin's goal.

3 What I saw in my past...

4 At the beginning, he was hunting for Rin, the key to the Inverted City...
5 But it seems he lost the need for it once he acquired immense power after covering Ruwell in mist.

6 Wh... What do you mean?

[7]

1 Look in the sky.

[8]

1 The City...!
2 It can be seen all over the world.

3 But ever since that City appeared, not a single person, not even magicians, have been able to reach that city.

4 None but those chosen by the City may enter.
5 Otherwise, one must be guided by the Key to reach the City.

[9]

1 The Key...

2 Rin...!

3 However, that masked man wielded power enough to bend that law and stepped foot into yonder City.

4 Jio, I'd said that Redainlos was all right, but that won't be the case very soon.
5 Eh?

6 It's not just Redainlos.
7 The entire world

[10]

1 Will be engulfed by mist.
2 Just like Ruwell and Oribiretis.

3 !!

SFX grit...

4 I'll stop Gin this time,
5 For sure!

[11]

1 I will take the two of you to the Inverted City.

2 Of course...
3 I'm coming along as well.

4 Rin...

5 Don't worry, Jio.

6 Rin's become strong.
7 That goes for me too.

[12]

1 Though I'm more powerful than her.

2 Saza...

3 Seems like... they're getting along?

4 That's right.
5 I know.

6 They've
7 Become strong.
8 Very strong.

[13]

1 And this time
2 I'll definitely succeed!

3 You all show great promise.
Lit: you're dependable/promising people

4 Boy,
5 Won't you test out your newfound power of your Curses?

[14]

1 No. // Because I might destroy this island.

2 Heh...

3 Hahaha, // I really have high hopes for you.
4 You all gave the same answer.

5 Go forth.
6 Ye with power.

[15]

1 Let's go.
2 Jio, Saza.

3 Yeah!

[16-17]

n/a

[18]

1 !

2 Looks like we've got ourselves a warm welcome right from the get go.
3 I'll deal with it.

1 With the power of two Curses, Fire and Ice,

2 All things freeze in their tracks...

[20]

1 All things burn to ashes!

[21]

1 ...So you've come.

2 Jio...

[22]

1 Let me show you power that you can never attain no matter how powerful you become.
