The Ring of the Nibelung 11

Nibelungen #11

p69
Ring 11: Warp

p70
Sieh, wie dein Leichtsinn lachend uns allen Schimpf und Schmach erschuff!
See how your lightness, laughing, cost us all shame and insults! (Fricka, scene 2)

p71
That's where you and Mimay live?
In this huge jungle?

p72
What is this place?
If you get deep down, gravity gradually reverses and you can walk on the ceiling.

???

Here's the instrument I'm playing...

p73
It's same organ than Mimay's!!

p74
Mimay taught me everything...!
She was my teacher since my birth...

When I play it...
the whole planet inside is resonating...

and those vibrations are spreading across the whole universe...

p75
Right now, the only ones who can really play this organ...
are Mimay and myself...

But it must be damaged, because it's not emitting a perfect sound anymore...

It might be broken...
I can thoroughly look into it if you want...

Oh, that's right...! Mimay can play it too...
In order for the the flow of time to go on, we need either Freia's intervention, either Mimay's one.

p76
Weird... The inner temperature is similar to the one of a living being.

It even feels like skin.

What the hell?!

There's nothing here!
It's totally empty!!

p77
Damn, there's nothing I can do to fix it.
What a shame!!!

Freia...
Ugh!!!

What is this little animal?
It's not a mice: it's a human.

p78
Help!
It's no use struggling, Freia! Wotan gave you in reward for the construction of the fortress!!

Bring me this man.
Free him and he will come by himself.

I feel like he can be useful.
I need to meet with him.

Help me! Release me!!!

p79
Tochirou!!!
Ah! Mimay! I got trapped.

Where is Freia?
She told me that this is where you two lived, but...

Two tough guys came and abducted her.
...

I can't fix it, it's empty!
Not entirely! There's a heart inside... With all this commotion throughout space, it's not beating steadily. We need to calm it...

p80
Unfortunately, Freia was also worried sick... She was suffering a lot...

I'm going to enter. Close the door behind me...

And open it within one hour!
Beware! If you don't do it on time, I will be dissolved...!
OK! I'll stay here to watch over you, don't you worry.

p81
Where is the Arcadia?
It's flying above the underground forest and is heading toward us.

p82
Not an easy kind of flight.
There are way harder things in this world. Don't consider it!

Obstacle to the front...
Damn! Destroy it!!!

p83
Daiba, I told you not to come here.

Mimay asked you to remain in the safest place of the ship.
But...

She has her reasons.

...

p84
What is this commotion near the organ?!
It's the ship of Mimay's guardians!! The one built by that dwarf!!

Hurry! Bring him to me!!!
Understood, Wotan.

Waah! Stop it. I have to stay here. Let me down!

p85
You have an original way to bring him here. These monkeys aren't used to those kinds of trip!!
But he's perfectly unfazed... He looks like he's dreaming...

Dreaming?! While he doesn't know if he's going to make it?
He had a brush with death so many times that he's used to it and he doesn't fear danger anymore.

We shouldn't have let Alberich and Mimay wander around like that...

p87
I'm getting a weak distress signal from Mimay!!
Tochirou's signal was also activated for a few seconds.

He must have something in mind... As usual, there's no need to worry about him.
But it's different for Mimay because she's too sweet and gentle. Let's hurry up and rescue her!

Obstacle right in front!!!
Mimay is inside!!!

It has the same shape than the organ that she used to play on planet Rhin!!
Should we shoot at it? It might be enough to free her.

p89
Tochirou!! Where are you?! Let me out!!
We said one hour!! Tochirou!!!

Help me!

...
What is this noise...?

The Arcadia.

p90
You overdid it. It's dangerous!!
I wasn't sure to make it on time... Sorry!

p91
These beasts destroyed Freia's organ?!
They hit it with their ship. How stupid!! I'm sure they did it on purpose!!

What will happen now?!
Ever since Freia stopped playing, the course of time is back on. And now that the organ is destroyed...

... Time has become incontrollable again!!
It's accelerating and hasten our aging!!!

Who the hell are those creatures?! I won't ever forgive them!!
You were the one who called him here on Walhalla, Wotan...!

p92
We're getting a distress call from the two satellites of Walhalla, Arge and Sandsaina...
What is it saying?!

p93
The surface is crackling... Both planets are facing a great danger... The balance is broken... They're going to collide...

p94
The cause seems to be a powerful gravitional wave. The protective guard of knights has left the planet!
Here's the images taken five minutes ago.

What's going on now?!

... What causes this?
One of the ship of Alberich fleet...

p95
You mean that they're already in orbit around Walhalla's satellites?
But... it's impossible...! Yet, there's no doubt about it, they're already there...!

...

Arcadia's bow did a great job.
Yattaran rushed to save me. Don't blame him...! But for Walhalla and myself, the organ destruction is great loss...
See, Harlock, she asked you to congratulate me!!

p96
There you are, finally. You will answer for your deeds!
Huh? What? Where am I? Who am I? What's going on?
We don't have any more time to lose, Wotan!!!

p97
The ship that used warp just appeared, Wotan!

p98
I had forgotten about it! I can't believe that it can use fast navigation through space!!
It has made here thanks to this system. Alberich's fleet will soon be at our doorstep too...

These monkeys, while not evolved, used advanced technology, but they're still far from our level...

No one has ever managed to penetrate into Walhalla...!
Who can be these invaders, Wotan?

p99
What happened to the ship of his friends?
They're at the second green level. They're looking for a way to get here...

... They will never find it!
