Sakaki: First you fillet the fish and make sashimi out of the meat.
Sakaki: The problem is the leftover bits.
Minamoto: Cook it normally!

Sakaki: Put salt on the bream leftovers and cook it.
Sakaki: It'll taste fine just doing that, but there's a way to make it even better.

Sakaki: Put some kombu and dashi in a pot...
Sakaki: and pour in some sake.

Sakaki: Boil it and throw in the cooked leftovers.
Sakaki: The fish smell will be gone from cooking it and a nice flavor will seep out of it.

Sakaki: Put in some tofu and potherb mustard to let the flavor soak in.
Sakaki: Add as much salt as you like and eat it.
Sakaki: Not adding in too many unnecessary things gives it a good simple flavor.

Sakaki: And that's how you make bream boiled tofu!
Minamoto: Oh, it looks good!!
Sakaki: It's simple and really good!!
Kaoru: Time to eat.
Aoi: It's like regenerative medicine for the flavor!!
