Text next to Michael: "Michael" His name comes from an archangel in the "Old Testament". He himself does not know why he was given this name. He was a little embarrassed about being given it. His specialty is using computers. He is not a believer of the cult; he just wanted to use his skills. He wanted to be somewhere he would be appreciated. When introduced, he decided to play along, but, once things got started, he couldn't turn back. His personality makes him get caught up in the flow of things easily and he might pay for that one day. Because of his lack of faith and because of J's frank attitude, he ends up feeling unexpectedly shameless at times. He doesn't think of himself as a genius and he doesn't lack faith in his skills, but he has a bit of an inferiority complex. His "gas mileage" is as bad as Abel's. But, since they both eat about the same amount and Michael doesn't move around as much as Abel, his "gas mileage" must actually be worse. He's been paying a little more attention to it since J told him that he would gain weight once he reached 30.

Text around Jacob: "Jacob" His name comes from a man in the Old Testament book of "Genesis" who wrestled with God and won. His father was an illegal immigrant. His mother was Japanese and he had an older brother. But his father was forced to leave the country and he never heard from him again. His misfortunes continued to pile up when his mother and brother were killed in an accident. He knew deep in his heart that there was no helping it, but he began to hate the country that didn't let his father stay. As the months and years passed, he became convinced that, if his father had been able to stay, his mother and brother wouldn't have died. His "hatred" for the country deepened and he came to strongly believe in the man who saved his heart, Kamishima Simon, and the "Blood of God" that comes from him. He grew fond of the sisters Cain and Abel who he got along well with. He doesn't eat much and is a vegetarian.

Fujimaru: That way they could hack into the transformer substation near the special prison that used the same security system.
Fujimaru: Causing a power outage at the prison was part of their plan.

Kanou: ...I see.

Fujimaru: Kirishima-san had inspected the data on the special prison...
