It's on the border between China and Pakistan,

In the mid-19th Century an Indian surveying group started their work until

they reached a nameless mountain even the local people did not know of.

Its name comes from Karakoram (Turkish for black gravel).

to the sought after face, a big path must be taken around K2 to the deepest part.

Then you must be cautious of the endless crevasses hidden in the surface of the snow.

and proceed avoiding crevasses.

It would be amazing to to be able to place your own hands onto a mountain like that, don't you think?
