Aaand, here I'm done with this. This chapter's gotta be my favorite so far, check it out.
That concludes both Volume 2 and Part 1 of Doubutsu no Kuni.
Now I've just got 3 chapters to go, plus the new one that comes out mid-July. And I'll be working on scanlating. Might just go ahead before I buy the July issue.

we became friends and that fear vanished.
And that's not all.
I'm really happy we've become friends.
Different animals being able to understand each other has really been something happy.

In a way, that's correct.
We think of our loved ones with the most preference.
However though, Tarouza,
Isn't the biggest reason you can say "it's all right to eat fish"...
because you still cannot understand a fish's cry?
Well, I don't know if fish have a cry or not,
but if you were able to talk with fish
surely you would no longer eat them, Tarouza.
Because you cannot do such a thing as eat someone who's become your friend.

Burabura: So for animals which must eat meat to live,
if they became friendly with those who would've eaten, and no longer have anything to eat, they'll merely die.
So what do you think?
Can you do such a thing as make all animals friends?
In this "Animal Country" you can only eat life that are a species outside one's own.
Strong ones eat weak ones. In this world, your cry is not needed.
