Komatsu: Today's quota is to go over Kashimayari to Jii-ga-take.
We'll move with Niimi and Kunieda, you two, switching off as the top for one hour each.
Niimi: Yes, sir.
Kunieda: Yes, sir.
Komatsu: Today we won't have a set time for food, either. So when you see an opportunity, finish eating while you're moving.
Title: 72nd Climb Isolated Mountain
Komatsu: All right then, there's no time.

One tent is plenty for us. I'll leave this tent in your custody.
When you get down the mountain, people from our association will come get it along with your gear and wear.
Thanks for your hard work. I'll leave it to you from here.

Climbing Glossary
There are technical terms that appear in "Kokou no Hito". Here, the terms appearing in volume 7 are explained!!
Mount Shirouma (P3) .....................(1)
Mount Shirouma. Elevation 2932m. Northern Alps - Borther Section of the Hida Mountain Range. Extending into the Nagano Prefecture and Toyama Prefecture a famous peak in the Ushiro-Tateyama Mountain Range. It's one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains. Just below the peak is Japan's largest Mountain Inn with 1500 employees. In the summer time, climbers line up there, but the snowfall is extraordinarily large so there are far fewer climbers in the winter time.
Kaerazu no Ken (P48) .....................(2)
Kaerazu no Ken. From Peaks I to V, in that distance the rocky peaks continue up and down. There is a continuous element of 20 and 30 meter climbing and descending which makes for rope climbing in the winter.
Summiter (P61)
A climber who has successfully climbed to a summit.
Traverse (P89)
On a ridge-walk traversal, to not go to the peak but to cross over a slanted face. To move directly horizontally across a rock or ice wall.
TL Note: This is "traverse" written in katakana, it's obviously different from "traversal" as in "walking across a series of ridge lines".
Verglas (P140) .....................(3)
Thin ice stuck to the surface of a rock. It can be made from moist snow, freezing rain, or when melted snow flows as water. Because you cannot deeply stab your ice axe or crampons into it, it forces climbing to be extremely difficult.
Chacraraju West-Face (P148)
A wall in the South American Peru Andes. The peak extending 6000m is in the Peru Andes which is said to be the hold many of the world's most beautiful mountains. The Chacraraju West-Face one of the most difficult faces in all of the Peru Andes Mountain Range.
Food While Moving (P183) .....................(4)
While mountain climbing, food supplies that doesn't have to be cooked and can be eaten as-is. Bread, or various other solid food that can be carried in-hand. Also called rations.
TL Note: Yeah, there's really no good English word to translate this into. I just phrased it like a sentence.
Page 206:
[And uh... that's it. Man that was the shortest glossary ever.]
Page 207:
Top: This manga is a compilation of what was popularly run in Weekly Shonen Young Jump 2009 combined issue 14 to issue 24.]
