There are technical terms that appear in "Kokou no Hito". Here, the terms appearing in volume 11 are explained!!
Night Climbing (P19)....................................(1)
Climbing done at night. Especially with bouldering, which is done at night in order to avoid the heat of the day, called night bouldering.
Konohanasakuya-Hime Iwanaga-Hime (P100)....................................(2)
Mythical Japanese goddesses. Daughter sof the native Japan god Ooyamatsumi, the younger sister is Sakuya-hime and the older sister is Iwanaga-hime. The beautiful Sakuya-Hime accepted the proposal of marriage from Ninigi no Mikoto who was said to be a grandchild of Amaterasu. But despite the usual custom of society at the time of the Joumon period, when influential people were married, if they had siblings, they would get married together, the ugly Iwanaga-Hime alone was left out. The insulted father placed words of a curse upon Ninigi. "Though I have sent you, like a plant, a fate of living only like a beautiful flower, and like a rock, I send you an ever-lasting life. Hereafter, your descendants will experience death and not be able to enjoy long lives." A Shinto shrine contained on Mount Fuji, Asamano Ookami and Konohanasakuya-Hime as the major enshrined deities. Inside are the enshrined dieties Konohanasakuya-Hime's father Ooyamatsumi and her sister goddess Iwanaga-Hime. The Shizuoka Prefecture Fujinomiya City's Fujisan Honguu Sengen Taisha is he head Shrine of the approximately 1300 Sengen shrines in Japan.
Nanga Parbat (P184)....................................(6)
Located in Pakistan, at elevation 8126m, the world's 9th tallest peak. A mountain that became the stage for nation prestige of world powers to be the first to climb it in the 20th century. It had many challengers who met with accidents until finally first climbed to the peak in 1953 via the Diamir Face by a German team. On the south side is the Rupal Face with an altitude difference of 4500m is the world's leading biggest difference elevation wall, and was first climbed by Reinholt Mesner and his brother Günther Mesner. If it were climbed solo to the peak directly from the Rupal Face's center ridge it would be the world's first. A shell route is a climbing route with a wide detour.
