T/N: Mashin Eiyuu Den Wataru (or Machin Hero Wataru) is a super robot anime from the late 80's.

Kon: Sorry, but I'm still the general of the bumpkin faction and we have our own sort of pride.
A general doesn't need the strength to make all of his comrades prostrate themselves before him.
If he has the strength to protect one comrade, that's plenty.
We'd say that somebody who never threw one punch back is more suited to the position than somebody that beats up his comrades, Tokoroten Wataru.
T/N: Tokoroten is a dish in Japanese cuisine made from jelly extracted from seaweeds.
Zaki: It's Mountainzaki!!
Kon: Okay, let's get back to practice!
