Volume 6 is almost done after many maaaany delays, so I thought I'd try to at least get started on this. Volume 7 and 8 are out now and 9 comes out in a month so there's a lot to do.

[Innocent 65 Translation by Kewl0210]
Author Flap:
Do eternal heroes actually exist?

My experiences and choices in the past have changed me and tomorrow I'm becoming a new me...

So even the protagonist of a story choosing a life of doubt and pain, shouldn't they try for change?

Similarly, I believe that people struggling and suffering as they move through this world can have empathy------...

Heading: Historie jusqu'a present.
(The story leading to the present)
Description: 'The Watchman of Justice, the Grim Reaper'. Within the most sublime family of executioners in all of French history, the Sanson Family, a "sibling's quarrel" has erupted...!!!
It all started when the elder brother, Charles, spent the night with the seamstress Marie-Jeanne Bécu. With Charles awakening to a "man's pleasures", he became filled with willpower and confidence as the head of the family. On the other hand, the younger sister, Marie, harbors displeasure over her elder brother's transformation. Among all this, the Sanson Family receives a new order of execution. Marie is in high spirits wanting to carry out this execution. But after her erratic behavior on the execution platform which has pointed to the danger of possibly bringing about disaster to the family, Charles takes up the duty. And when Marie defies Charles, he goes so far as to confine her to their home...
But Marie was not acting out of pure selfishness. What honestly restrained Marie was kindness towards her assistant, Andre. Andre released Marie and by charming Latour, Marie was able to take back her duty of executing him. But the method of this execution was decided by Louis Philippe, Duke of Orleans, to be the unheard-of "standing decapitation", 'décapitation de la statue'------. Everyone trembled in fear over thoughts of the execution platform becoming a sea of blood.
The time of the execution arrived. On the execution platform, the convict Latour shuddered and could not even stand up. But by invigorating him with a vitality Marie gave him with her lips, he was able to stand. At this moment, in a flash, without even realizing himself that his "decapitation was completed", his head fell from his torso----. The execution was a success. However, Charles rebuked her for playing with the heart of a condemned man. Marie stated that she was parting with her being a woman as well as her former brother that had pushed for her to become an executioner. 'All that is engraved in my chest is my crimson fate...!!!'----. Ambition, rivalry, death... On the execution platform where the whirlpool of the works of people's lives flow into where this brother and sister found a common bond have now separated as a result of their growth...
One year later, Charles could be seen enjoying himself on a hunt in a forest. Filled with confidence as head of the family and burning for new love with a woman to be his companion. And an event as if it were designed to test Charles occurred. He ran across the young 'Louies XVI', Duke of Berry, Louis-Auguste. This boy that adored "death", Auguste, saw Charles as a "god" inviting him to the underworld. Auguste invited Charles to a great banquet that was being held at the Palace of Versailles. Clad in a jacket of the color that symbolized nobility, 'blue', Charles made a dashing appearance there. But is the swirling ambition at the palace prowling for Charles...?! And his little sister who serves as executioner for Versailles is there as well! The stars are all on stage as the story of this bloody revolution accelerates-----!!!

Title: n°65 Beautiful Executioner
Someone: When I was young, the executioners I heard about in legends from my wet nurse
had long, unkempt beards with bits of food clinging to it.
And in the faint smile that peeked out from their mouths would have these yellow uneven teeth that looked like they had bits of turpentine stuck to them----...

Page 8-9:
Auguste: That they were huge men covered in thick hair like bears,
the very image of inhuman monsters.
But this person is nothing like that.

Page 10:
Auguste: His long, white, slender fingertips
gently stroked my cheek.
The obsidian eyes that stared at me
glistened like they were wet.
Every time the plentiful, flowing black hair shook
I was gently wrapped in the smell of roses.

Page 11:
[Oh. And there those roses are right now.]

Page 12-13:
Auguste: "Monsieur de Paris"
Charles-Henri Sanson was
the most beautiful person in this world----...
Title: n°65 Beautiful Executioner

Page 14:
Auguste: -----...Perhaps what I've read in books and been taught
were all lies.
Like perhaps that ribbon attached to that madame's hair is...
And what if
even the ground I'm standing on is...

Page 15:
[Oh, I love this scene.]

Page 16-17:
Turtle: Hey, Louis-Auguste,
my back is ticklish!

Page 18:
Auguste: Kukuku...
Philippe: You seem to be having quite a lot of fun, Lord Louis-Auguste.
Auguste: !!
Philippe: If your father dies of tuberculosis soon,
you will rise to being first in line as king.
That is a reason to not stop laughing.
Auguste: ...I wasn't...

Page 19:
Auguste: I was taught that the 'blue blood' of the royal family ran through my body.
But what if it's red blood just like everyone else...?
If everyone in the world has the same red blood,
then we don't really need anyone to be kings, right......?

Page 20:
Philippe: That brat is as skittish and insular as ever.
But today will be the last day you can sit there peacefully.
Larmes.
Larmes: It is all as you wish.
Guy: Scoundrel!!!!
We cannot allow you to progress any further into the luncheon party!!!

Page 21:
Charles: I was formally invited to attend this luncheon.
Please allow me passage.
Guy: The likes of executioners such as you could never be allowed to set foot in Versailles!
Did you think that if you imitated an aristocrat by wearing blue garbs you would be able to roam among noblemen?!!
Charles: No matter what you say to me, I will not cower.
I have become strong...
Marie, where are you?
I would very much like to see you...
Someone: Oh, what a beautiful blue...
!!

Page 22:
Woman: Though clad yourself in blue all you like,
you cannot hide the color of your blood.
"Monsieur de Paris" Charles-Henrei Sanson.
Charles: Lady Marlet...?!!
Wh-What is going on?
Why would you do something like this?!
Marlet: Silence, you shameless man!

Page 23:
Marlet: You hid your status to get close to me and seduce me
and you dared touch someone as noble as me with those bloodstained hands of yours...!!!
While you may be a Parliament official, I never imagined you were an 'executioner'.
When I discovered your true identity from others all of the blood in my body froze
and I fell unconscious...
In order to atone for the disgrace you have brought upon me,
I am officially suing you in Parliament!!!

Page 24:
Marlet: I demand that Charles-Henri Sanson will have rope tied around his neck, be forced to show repentance and apologize to me
and hereafter be made to have a symbol on his clothing and carriage so everyone will know immediately that he is an executioner!!!
