T/N: The Jagan Eye (Evil Eye) is a reference to Hiei's third eye from Yuu Yuu Hakusho.
Handwritten: I don't think everybody's noticed.
Woah! Now that I get a look at it, are your eyes sewn shut?! Did somebody do that when you were asleep?! Man, pirates are some damn deep sleepers.
SFX: KOSO KOSO (Whispering)

While I cannot see you with this pair of eyes,

Yes, long ago we would exchange out intentions with only this one eye which is called a 'Satori'.
T/N: Satori = comprehension/consciousness. Refers to a creature in Japanese folklore of the same name that can read minds.
Batou: In order to reawaken this Satori that had become vestigial long, long ago,
I covered my eyes and ears.
To my eye, even some silent plants on the side of the road seem like chatterboxes.
Like crying hysteric women speaking out about all of their emotions.
